Vanhoeven versus Giesque.

The House being moved, "That a Day may be appointed, for hearing of the Appeal depending in this House, wherein Isaac Vanhoeven is Appellant, and Mathias Giesque, Joane Giesque his Wife and Administratrix, are Respondents; Proof being made that the said Joane Giesque was served with the Order of this House for reviving the said Appeal, and her answering thereunto, if she thought fit, her Hus band being dead since the Appeal was brought into this House:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Friday the Four and Twentieth Day of this Instant January, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon."

Lewes versus Fielding & al.

Whereas this Day was appointed, for hearing of the Cause wherein Thomas Lewes is Appellant, and Israel Fielding and others Respondents: Counsel being called in; the Counsel for the Appellant desired further Time for hearing the Cause, they not being fully instructed:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, peremptorily, on Tuesday the One and Twentieth Day of this Instant January, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon: And it is further Ordered, That the said Thoams Lewes shall forthwith pay, or cause to be paid, unto the said Israel Fielding, and other Respondents, the Sum of Ten Pounds, for their Costs of this Day's Attendance with their Counsel.

Tigh's Nat. Bill:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing John Tigh."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
