Goulston's Bill.

The Earl of Winchilsea reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Trustees the Estate of Morris Goulston Esquire, for the raising his Sisters Portions, and Payment of Debts; and other Purposes therein mentioned," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Trustees the Estate of Morris Goulston Esquire, for the raising his Sisters Portions, and Payment of Debts; and other Purposes therein mentioned."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Ordered, The Commons have Notice, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Gomeldon's Bill.

The Lord Bishop of Chichester reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable William Gomeldon Esquire to sell a Farm in Kent, to discharge an Incumbrance upon the same; and to apply the Residue of the Monies arising by such Sale in Payment of the said William Gomeldon's Debts," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Queen's Answer to Address upon Sir R. Gwyn's Letter to E. Stamford:

The Lord Keeper reported Her Majesty's Answer to the Address of both Houses, presented to Her Majesty Yesterday, as followeth; (videlicet,)

"My Lords, and Gentlemen,

"Nothing can be more acceptable to Me, than so seasonable an Instance of your Concern to preserve a good Understanding between Me and the Princess Sophia, and of your Care to defeat the Artifices of designing and malicious Men.

"I am fully sensible of the very ill Designs of the Paper, which you have so justly censured; and I will not fail to give the necessary Directions for complying, in the most effectual Manner, with all you desire in your Address."

Address and Answer to be printed.

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England do give Order, that the Address of both Houses of Parliament, by them presented to Her Majesty Yesterday, and Her Majesty's most Gracious Answer thereunto, be forthwith printed and published.

Queen's Answer to Address, in relation to Carolina:

The Earl of Bradford reported Her Majesty's Answer to the Address of this House, presented to Her Majesty by the Lords with White Staves, in relation to Carolina, as follows; (videlicet,)

"I thank the House, for laying these Matters so plainly before Me. I am very sensible of what great Consequence the Plantations are to England; and will do all that is in My Power to relieve My Subjects in Carolina, and to protect them in their just Rights."

Address and Petition, with the Queen's Answer, to be printed.

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England do give Order, that the Address of this House presented to Her Majesty, relating to the Province of Carolina, and the Petition therein mentioned, with Her Majesty's most Gracious Answer to the said Address, be forthwith printed and published.

Conference on the Lords Amendment to the Militia Bill.

The Commons being come to the Conference; the Lords following were appointed Managers; (videlicet,)

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure; and the Lords went to the Conference.

Which being ended, the House was resumed.

And the Duke of Shrewsbury reported, "That the Commons do not agree to the Amendment made by this House to the Bill, intituled, "An Act for raising the Militia for the Year One Thousand Seven Hundred and Six, notwithstanding the Month's Pay formerly advanced be not re-paid; and for an Accompt to be made of the Trophy-monies;" and gave their Reasons for it."

Bankrupts Bill:

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee again to proceed further on the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent Frauds frequently committed by Bankrupts."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Herbert reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with some Amendments and Clauses."

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and Ordered, That the said Clauses be engrossed.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to prevent Frauds frequently committed by Bankrupts."

The Question was put "Whether the said last mentioned Bill, with the Amendments and Clauses, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with Amendments to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Rogers and Mr. Hiccocks:

To return the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence to their Lordships Amendments and Clauses made thereto.
