Bishop of London's Estate.
MR. Clarke reported from the Committee to whom the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for Exchanging of several small Parcels of Land, in the Parish and Manor of Fulham, belonging to the Bishoprick of London, for other Lands of the like Value, to Charles Earl of Monmouth, and his Heirs, was committed, That they had examined and considered the Bill; and had made some Amendments thereunto; which they had directed him to report to the House: And which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: where the same were once read throughout; and then, a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House; and are as followeth; viz.
Press 1st, L. 16. leave out "Ann;" and insert "Elizabeth."
Press 3d, L. 35. leave out "Indenture;" and insert "Indentures."
Smith's Estate.
Mr. Hungerford reported from the Committee to whom the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for the Sale of Lands by Sir Robert Smith, and settling other Lands, of a greater Value to the same Uses, in lieu thereof, was committed, that they had examined and considered the Bill; and had made several Amendments thereunto; which they had directed him to report to the House: And which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout; and then a Second time, one by one; and upon the Question put thereupon, agreed unto by the House; and are as foll. viz.
Press 3d, L. 11. after "Freehold," insert "Copyhold."
Press 4. L. 14. after "Smith" leave out "and;" and, after "Smith," in the next Line, insert "and Richard Whitehead, Esquire."

"And be it it further enacted, That if the said Sir Robert Smith shall neglect or fail to settle, at his own proper Costs and Charges, and to convey and secure the said Copyhold and other Lands last before-mentioned, and that within the said Time limited, and to the same Uses and Purposes aforesaid, and also free and clear from all precedent Titles, Mortgages, Charges, and Incumbrances, That then, and in such Case, this present Act of Parliament shall be of no force: And that the several Powers and Limitations, hereby given and created, shall cease, determine, and be utterly void to all Persons, Purposes, and Intents, as if such Act had never been made; any thing before mentioned to the contrary notwithstanding."
Salwerpe Navigation.
Mr. Waller reported from the Committee to whom the Bill for making navigable the River Salwerpe, in the County of Worcester, and Brooks adjoining, was committed, That they had considered of the several Petitions referred to the said Committee; and had made several Amendments to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House. And which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout.
Resolved, That the Bill be re-committed to the same Committee: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Four of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.
Repairs of united Churches.
An ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act to make Parishioners of the Church united Contributors to the Repairs and Ornaments of the Church to whom the Union is made, was read the Second time.
Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Lord Wm. Pawlet, Mr. Hedges, Captain Dyot, Mr. Brownloe, Mr. Chadwick, Mr. Waller, Mr. Hopkins, Sir Tho. Darcy, Mr. Christy, Mr. White, Mr. Travers, Mr. Ryder, Mr. Henley, Mr. Lassels, Mr. Sherard, Mr. Burrard, Sir Fr. Molineux, Mr. Hutchinson, Mr. Blowfeild, Mr. Slater, Mr. Hawtry, Lord Cornbury, Mr. Arnold, Mr. Lutterell, Mr. Chetwynd, Colonel Titus, Mr. Bridges, Sir Wm. Strickland, Mr. Biddulph, Sir Jerv. Elwes, Mr. Norryes, Mr. Rebow, Mr. Colson, Sir Tho. Mompesson, Mr. Hobby, Mr. Bockland: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Four a Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.
Answer to Address.
Mr. Speaker reported to the House, That he did Yesterday present to his Majesty their Address touching the East India Company: And that his Majesty was pleased to express himself to this Effect; viz.

I will always do all the good in my Power for this Kingdom: And I will consider of your Address.
Lords agree to Conference.
Mr. Waller reported, that he having been with the Lords, to desire a Conference upon the Subject Matter of the Amendments made by the Lords to the ingrossed Bill, intituled, an Act to prevent malicious Informations in the Court of King's Bench, and for the more easy reversal of Outlawries in the same Court, the Lords do agree to a Conference, this Day at one a Clock, in the Painted Chamber.
Supply Bill; Poll Tax.
Then the House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Bill for Review of the Quarterly Poll.
Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Attorney General took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.
Mr. Attorney General reported from the said Committee, That they had sat; and had directed him to move the House, That they may have Leave to sit again.
Resolved, That this House will, after the Conference is over, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House to consider further of the said Bill.
Conference with Lords.
Then the Managers appointed went to the Conference with the Lords.
And, being returned;
Mr. Serjeant Trenchard reported, That they had given the Lords the Reasons why this House doth not agree with the Lords in the Amendments made by their Lordships to the Bill for preventing malicious Informations in the Court of King's Bench, and for the more easy Reversal of Outlawries in the same Court.

Then the House, according to Order, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the Bill for the Review of the Quarterly Poll.

Fines and Recoveries in Glamorganshire.
Ordered, That the Hearing of Counsel, and Witnesses, to the Merits of the Cause, upon the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act to set aside Amendments and Alterations made to the Records and Writs of a Fine, and Two Recoveries, in the Grand Sessions held for the County of Glamorgan, be heard at the Bar, on Monday Morning next, at Eleven a Clock.
Importing Saltpetre.
Ordered, That Mr. Blowfeild, Mr. Traverse, Mr. Lutterell, Mr. Hungerford, Sir Roger Puleston, Sir John Dorrell, Mr. Wharton, Mr. Fuller, Mr. Bockland, be added to the Committee to whom the Bill for the Importation of Saltpetre, notwithstanding the Act of Navigation, is committed.
And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight a Clock.
