Leasing Bangor House.

AN ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Humphry Lord Bishop of Bangor to make a Lease of Bangor House, with the Appurtenances, in the Parish of St. Andrew's, Holborne, London, for a competent Term of Years, in order to the New-building, and improving the Rent thereof, for the Benefit of his Successors, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Mr. Christie, Mr. Arnold, Mr. Hutchinson, Mr. Mansell, Sir Robert Cotton, Lord Bulkley, Mr. Lutterell, Mr. Price, Mr. England, Mr. Speake, Mr. Hawtry, Mr. Fenwick, Mr. Foley, Sir Jerv. An ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Sir John Williams, of Langibby in the County of Monmouth, Baronet, to sell the Manor of Ewyas, Lacy, Waterstone, and Trescallan, and other Lands in the County of Hereford, and the Manors of Carwent, and other Lands in the County of Monmouth, for Payment of Debts, was read the Second time.

Greenland Trade.

Sir Math. Andrews reported from the Committee to whom the Bill for the regaining, encouraging, and settling the Greenland Trade was committed: That they had made several Amendments to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House: And which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout; and then a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Lloyd have Leave to go into the Country for Three Weeks, for his Health.

Ordered, That Mr. Ambrose Manaton have Leave to go into the Country for Three Weeks, for his Health.

Militia.

An ingrossed Bill for raising the Militia of this Kingdom, for the Year 1693, although the Month's Pay, formerly advanced, be not repaid, was read the Third time.

Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for raising the Militia of this Kingdom, for the Year 1693, although the Month's Pay, formerly advanced, be not repaid.

Ordered, That Sir John Guise do carry the Bill to the Lords; and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Bromhall's Debts.

A Petition of Wm. Norwood, Esquire, and Thomas Norwood, Executors of Henry Norwood, Esquire, deceased, was presented to the House, and read; setting forth, That there being a Bill now in this House depending, which hath passed the House of Lords, for Sale of the Office of the Fleet, and the Mansion-house, and several other Houses thereunto belonging, and the Office of keeping the Palaces at Westminster, and all the Shops and Stalls, as well within as without Westminster; which, if it should pass, as now worded, would be of great Prejudice to the Petitioners, they having a Debt of Two thousand Pounds, payable out of the Premises; and praying to be heard before the said Bill do pass this House.

Ordered, That the said Petition do lie upon the Table, until the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for the Sale of such Interest as Thomas Bromhall, an Infant, hath, in the Office of the Warden of the Fleet, and Thirteen Houses adjoining, and in an Office of the Custody and Keeping of the Palace at Westminster, for the more effectual Payment of Debts, be read a Second time.

London Orphans.

A Bill for satisfying the Debts due to the Orphans of the City of London was, according to the Order of the Day, read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time, upon Thursday Morning next, at Eleven a Clock.

East India Trade.

A Debate arising in the House concerning the Preservation of the East India Trade;

Resolved, That the said Debate be adjourned until Friday Morning next, at Eleven a Clock.

Prohibiting Trade with France.

Then the House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Bill for continuing the Acts for prohibiting all Trade and Commerce with France, and for the Encouragement of Privateers.

Mr. Attorney General took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Attorney General reported from the said Committee, That they had made a considerable Progress in the Bill; and that they had directed him to move, That they might have Leave to sit again.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Thursday Morning next, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the said Bill.

Ways and Means.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Friday Morning next (after the adjourned Debate touching the East India Trade is over) resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for the carrying on a vigorous War against France.

Ordered, That all Committees be adjourned.
