Towers' Estate.

AN ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for vesting the Manors of Barcrofts, otherwise Thonock, otherwise Low Thonock, Hinton, otherwise Hengton, and other Lands in the County of Lincolne, Isle of Elye, and Counties of Cambridge and Norfolke, in Trustees, for Payment of the Debts of Tho. Towers, Esquire, and making Provision for his Wife and Daughter, was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Bromhall's Debts.

An ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for the Sale of such Interest as Thomas Bromhall, an Infant, hath in the Office of the Warden of the Fleet, and in Thirteen Houses adjoining, and in an Office of the Custody and Keeping of the Palace of Westminster, for the more effectual Payment of Debts, was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Atwood's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Abell Atwood to sell some Lands, to pay Debts, and making Provision for younger Children, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Mr. Tho. Foley, Sir Chr. Greenfield, Sir Jos. Tredenham, Sir Robert Cotton, Colonel Perrey, Mr. Hungerford, Lord Ranelagh, Mr. Colt, Mr. Gwynn, Mr. Dyot, Mr. Chetwyn, Mr. Bromley, Mr. Goldwell, Mr. Fenwick, Mr. Christy, Mr. Harley, Mr. Chadwick, Mr. Travers, Mr. Hedger, Mr. Bowyer, Mr. Lutterell, Mr. White, Mr. P. Foley, Mr. Slater, Mr. Hawtry, Mr. Colemer, Mr. Blowfield, Mr. Norryes, Mr. Arnold, Mr. Hedger, Mr. Bickerstaff, Sir John Bolles, Mr. Roberts, Mr. Lloyd, Mr. Foley junior, and all the Members for the Counties of Worcester and Gloucester: And they are to meet at Four of the Clock this Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the Petition of Henry Attwood, formerly presented to the House, be referred to the Committee to whom the said Bill is committed.

Preserving Game.

Mr. Goldwell reported from the Committee, to whom the Bill for Preservation of the Game against Poachers, was committed, That they had made several Amendments to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House: And which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout; and then a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Sir William Morley have Leave to go into the Country for Three Weeks, for Recovery of his Health.

A Motion being made, and the Question being put, That Sir Gilbert Clark have Leave to go into into the Country, for Three Weeks, upon extraordinary Occasions;

Publick Accompts.

Sir Thomas Clarges presented to the House, from the Commissioners for taking the publick Accompts, their Answer to the Observations upon the Accompts delivered in by the said Commissioners.

Supply Bill; Impositions on Merchandize.

Mr. Attorney General, according to the Order of the Day, reported from the Committee of the whole House, to whom the Bill for granting to their Majesties several additional Impositions upon Merchandize, was committed, the Amendments made, by the said Committee, to the said Bill: The which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout, and afterwards a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House: And some other Amendments were made by the House.

Then a Proviso was offered to be added to the Bill, with a Blank for the Time, That no Lustrings or Alamodes shall be imported without Notice to the Commissioners or Farmers of the Customs.

And the same was twice read; and the Blank filled up by the House; and, upon the Question put thereupon, agreed unto by the House to be added to the Bill, For Drawbacks to be made upon Certificates.

And the same was once read.

And the Question being put, That the same be read a Second time;

It passed in the Negative.

Then a Clause was offered to be added to the Bill, That all Duties charged by the Act on Amber Beads, Amber-rough, Coral, and all Cowries, shall be repaid to the Merchant exporting the same, within Three Years after Importation thereof.

And the same was twice read; and, upon the Question put thereupon, agreed unto by the House to be made Part of the Bill.

Then a Clause was offered to be added to the Bill, touching Excisemen.

And the same was read the First time, and withdrawn.

Ordered, That Sir Walth. Young, Sir Fr. Winnington, Mr. Clarke, Mr. Smith, do immediately withdraw into the Speaker's Chamber; and prepare a proper Clause; and present the same to the House.

Then a Clause of Appropriation was offered to be added to the Bill.

And the same was read the First time.

Ordered, That a Clause of Loan and Appropriation be prepared, and brought in: And that Sir Thomas Clarges, Mr. Finch, Mr. Attorney General, Lord Falkland, Sir Chr. Musgrave, Mr. Chancellor of Exchequer, do prepare and bring in the same.

Mr. Clark reports, That the Members appointed to withdraw, and prepare a Clause touching Excisemen, had prepared a Clause accordingly; which they had directed him to present to the House: And he read the same in his Place; and then he delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same was twice read; and, upon the Question put thereupon, agreed unto by the House to be made Part of the Bill.

Then a Clause was offered to be added to the Bill, That all the Commissioners and Custom-house Officers shall take their Oaths for their faithful Execution of their several Trusts; and that they will not take any other Reward than their lawful Fees.

And the same was twice read; and, with some Amendments made by the House, was agreed unto, to be made Part of the Bill.

Resolved, That the further Consideration of the said Bill be adjourned till Monday Morning next, Eleven a Clock.

State of Ireland.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Wednesday Morning next, at Eleven a Clock, take into Consideration the State of the Kingdom of Ireland.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees be adjourned.

And then the House adjourned till Monday Morning, Eight a Clock.
