Prayers.

Pitt's Estate.

MR. Clark reported from the Committee to whom the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Trustees to sell Part of the Lands and Tenements of Mathew Pitt, . . ., and Robert Pitt, Gentleman, for Paying of Debts, and to settle the rest of their Lands upon the said Math. and Robert and the Wife of the said Robert and their Issue, was committed, That they had examined and considered the same, and the Petition of Agatha Pitt, referred to the Consideration of the said Committee; and had made an Amendment to the Bill: Which they had directed him to report to the House; and which he read, in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same was Twice read; and, upon the Question put thereupon, agreed unto by the House; and is as followeth; viz.

Press 19. L. 36. after "Administrator," add "and also to Agatha Pitt, Wife of Math. Pitt, all her Right of Dower and Thirds, of, in, and to any the Lands, Messuages, Tenements, and Hereditaments of him the said Math. Pitt."

Goodwyn's Estate.

Mr. Serjeant Blincoe reported from the Committee to whom the Bill to enable Tho. Goodwyn the younger to sell some Lands for the Payment of Debts, and make Provision for his Wife and Children, was committed, That they had made several Amendments to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House: And which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout; and then a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Private Bills.

Ordered, That the Time for reading and dispatching private Bills be enlarged until Eleven a Clock.

Publick Accompts.

Sir Robert Howard presented to the House, Observations upon the Accompts delivered in by the Commissioners for taking the publick Accompts.

And the same were read.

Ordered, That the said Commissioners have a Copy thereof.

London Orphans.

Then the House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Petition of the Lord Mayor, Aldermen, and Common Council of the City of London, touching the Orphans of the said City.

Mr. Harcourt took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Harcourt reported from the said Committee, That they had come to several Resolutions; which they had directed him to report to the House.

Ordered, That the said Report be made To-morrow Morning at Eleven a Clock.

Ordered, That the Bill for continuing Part of the Act made in the First Year of their Majesties Reign, for the better preventing the Exportation of Wool, and encouraging the Woolen Manufactures of this Kingdom, be read the Third time To-morrow Morning, after the said Report.

Supply Bill; Impositions on Merchandize.

Ordered, That the Report from the Committee of the whole House, to whom the Bill for granting to their Majesties several additional Impositions upon Merchandize, was committed, be made To-morrow Morning, after the Committee of the whole House hath sat to consider of the Bill for examining, taking, and stating the publick Accompts of the Kingdom.

Ways and Means.

Resolved, That this House will, To-morrow Morning, after the said Report is over, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for the carrying on a vigorous War against France.

Expiring Laws.

Ordered, That the Report from the Committee to whom the Bill for reviving and continuing several Laws expired, and near expiring, was committed, be made upon Saturday Morning next, at Ten a Clock.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees be adjourned.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight a Clock.
