Sheibell's, &c. Nat.

AN ingrossed Bill for Naturalizing of Henry Sheibell, and others, was read the Third time.

Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for the Naturalizing of Henry Sheibell, and others.

Ordered, That Mr. Waller do carry the Bill to the Lords; and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Walthall's Estate.

Sir John Manwaring reported from the Committee to whom the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Richard Walthall, Esquire, to sell Lands for the Payment of Portions and Debts, was committed, That they had examined and considered the same; and had directed him to report the same, without any Amendments: And he delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

Wroth's Estate.

A Bill to enable Sir Tho. Wroth, Baronet, to make a Jointure and Settlement upon his Marriage, and to make a Provision for his Sister, notwithstanding his being under the Age of Twenty-one Years, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Mr. Clark, Mr. Freke, Mr. Smith, Mr. Portman, Mr. Palmer, Mr. Cooke, Mr. How, Mr. Lassells, Colonel Deane, Sir Cha. Raleigh, Mr. Boyle, Sir Fra. Molineux, Mr. Pollen, Mr. Goldwell, Mr. Harley, Mr. Hedger, Mr. England, Mr. Gee, Mr. Slater, Mr. Brewer, Mr. Fenwick, Mr. Willmot, Mr. Colt, Mr. Etterick, Mr. Harley, Mr. Holt, Sir Wm. Honeywood, Sir John Key, Mr. Pawlet, and all the Members that serve for the Counties of Devon and Somerset: And they are to meet this Afternoon, at Four a Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Preserving Game.

Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill for better Preservation of the Game, against Poachers.

Trade in Cities, &c.

Mr. Fenwick reported from the Committee, to whom the Bill to prevent the Decay of Trade in Cities, Corporations, and Market Towns, was committed, That they had considered the several Petitions to them referred, and had made several Amendments to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House: And which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout; and afterwards a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

A Clause was offered to be added to the Bill, For the vacating all Contracts or Subscriptions for Money, for carrying on the said Bill.

And the same was twice read.

And the Question being put, That the same be made Part of the Bill;

It passed in the Negative.

Another Clause was offered to be added to the Bill, That any Person settling in a Town, and paying to Church and Poor, may carry Goods.

And the same was twice read.

And the Question being put, That the same be made Part of the Bill;

Lotteries.

Ordered, That Sir Christopher Musgrave, Lord Brand Gerrard, Mr. How, Colonel Granville, Lord Norries, Colonel Earle, Mr. Kinaston, Colonel Trelawney, Colonel Perry, Mr. Tredenham, Mr. Dolben, Mr. Pitts, be added to the Committee to whom the Bill for prohibiting the Use of all Lotteries, is committed.

Privilege-Pressing a Members Servant.

A Complaint being made to this House, That one Thomas Gwillim, a Servant to Mr. Mansell, a Member of this House, coming in his Livery to receive his Letters, was pressed, and shipped off for Harwich, to go into Flanders;

Ordered, That the Mayor of Harwich do search all Transport Ships, Packet Boats, and all other Ships in that Harbour, for the said Thomas Gwillim; and, if he find, him, that he do take him thereout, and send him to the said Mr. Mansell; and that he do send a particular Account to this House, where, and in whose Hands, or Power, he shall find the said Thomas Gwillim; and do also examine him, and transmit the Examination to this House.

Ordered, That the Commissioners for Transportation do search all Transport Ships for the said Thom. Gwillim; and, if they find him, that they do send him to the said Mr. Mansell.

Triennial Parliaments.

An ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for the frequent Calling and Meeting of Parliaments, was, according to the Order of the Day, read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Monday Morning next, at Eleven a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the said Bill.

Ways and Means.

Resolved, That this House will, To-morrow Morning at Ten a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for the carrying on a vigorous War against France.

Ordered, That all the Members of this House do attend their Service in this House To-morrow Morning at Ten a Clock.

Ordered, That the House be called over upon this Day Sevennight, at Ten a Clock: And that such Members as have not had Leave to be absent, who shall not then attend the Service of this House, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House: And that such Members who have had Leave to be absent, and whose Time shall be then expired, and shall not then attend, be likewise sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms.

East India Trade.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Saturday Morning next, at Nine a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the Bill for preserving, regulating, and establishing the East India Trade
