Prayers.

Oaths of Allegiance in Ireland.

SIR Joseph Tredenham reports from the Committee to whom the Bill for abrogating the Oaths formerly taken to the Crown, in Ireland, and for establishing other Oaths to be taken to their Majesties, was committed, That they had agreed upon several Amendments to be made to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House: And which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards, delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were twice read; and agreed unto by the House, with some other Amendments made in the Chair.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Mr. Fleetwood thanked.

Ordered, That the Thanks of this House be given to Mr. Fleetwood, for the Sermon he preached before this House Yesterday: And that he be desired to print the same: And that Mr. Mountague and Mr. Hobby do acquaint him therewith.

Calne Election.

A Petition of Sir Geo. Hungerford was read; setting forth, That the Petitioner was, on the Thirty-first Day of October last, duly elected one of the Burgesses for the Borough of Calne in the County of Wilts, and ought to have been returned, notwithstanding the Steward of the Borough hath returned Wm. Wyndham, Esquire, in Prejudice of the Petitioner: And praying the Consideration and Relief of the House in the Premises.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Petition be referred to the Committee of Elections and Privileges: And they are to examine the Matter thereof; and report the same, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Supply.

Then the House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Motion made on Friday last, for a Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for carrying on a vigorous War against France.

Mr. Solicitor General took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.
Mr. Solicitor General reports from the said Committee, That they had agreed upon a Resolution; which they had directed him to report to the House: And which he read in his Place; and afterwards, delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same was read; and is as followeth; viz.

Resolved, That it is the Opinion of this Committee, That a Supply be granted to their Majesties, for the carrying on a vigorous War against France.

The said Resolution being read a Second time;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the House do agree with the Committee in the said Resolution, That a Supply be granted to their Majesties, for the carrying on a vigorous War against France.

Accounts desired of the King.

Mr. Solicitor General also acquainted the House, That he was directed by the said Committee to move the House, That his Majesty be humbly desired, That there be laid before this House a State of the War for the next Year's Service, in relation to the Fleet.

Ordered, That His Majesty be humbly desired, That there be laid before this House a State of the War for the next Year's Service, in relation to the Fleet.

Mr. Solicitor General also acquainted the House, That he was directed by the said Committee to move the House, That his Majesty be humbly desired, That there be laid before this House a State of the War for the next Year's Service, in relation to the Land Forces.

Ordered, That his Majesty be humbly desired, That there be laid before this House a State of the War for the next Year's Service, in relation to the Land Forces.

Ordered, That such Members of this House, as are of his Majesty's most honourable Privy Council, do move his Majesty in the Matters aforesaid.

Mr. Solicitor General also acquainted the House, That he was directed by the said Committee to move the House, That they may have Leave to sit again, to consider further of the Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for the carrying on a vigorous War against France.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Monday Morning next, at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for the carrying on a vigorous War against France.
