Prayers.

Albrough Election.

A PETITION of divers of the Inhabitants of Albrough in the County of Suffolk, touching the Election there, was presented to the House.

But, there being no Petition of the said Persons the last Sessions, the same was not received.

Call of the House.

Then the House, according to the Order of the Day, was called over. And the Names of such as made Default were again called over a Second time, and the Absence of several of them excused.

Ordered, That the Defaulters be called over upon Monday Sevennight next: And that such of them as do not then appear, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House.

Chichester Election.

A Petition of Richard Farrington, Esquire, was read; setting forth, That he was duly elected for the City of Chichester; and that, notwithstanding, by many Briberies, Threats, and Promises, Sir Tho. Miller, and Tho. May, Esquire, have procured themselves to be returned: And praying the Consideration and Relief of the House in the Premises.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Petition be referred to the Committee of Elections and Privileges: Who are to examine the Matter thereof; and report the same, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Tryals for Treason.

Ordered, That the Bill for Regulating of Tryals, in Cases of High Treason, be read a Second time upon Monday Morning next, at Ten a Clock.

And then the House adjourned till Friday Morning next, at Nine of the Clock.
