Stockbridge Election.

A PETITION of Anthony Row, Esquire, was read; setting forth, That he being duly elected a Burgess for the Borough of Stockbridge; yet nevertheless the Bailiff hath returned Thomas Jervoise, Esquire, not having so many qualified Voices as the Petitioner, in manifest Prejudice of the Petitioner's Right; and that several of those Voices the said Mr. Jervoise had were obtained by undue Practice and Threats: and praying the Consideration of the House in the Premises.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Petition be referred to the Committee of Privileges and Elections: Who are to examine the Matter thereof; and report the same, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Weobly Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ for the electing a Burgess to serve in this present Parliament for the Borough of Weobly in the County of Hereford, in the room of John Birch, Esquire deceased.

Parliament prorogued.

A Message by Sir Tho. Duppa, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod.

Mr. Speaker, the Lords, authorized by virtue of their Majesties Commission, desire the immediate Attendance of this honourable House in the House of Peers, to hear the said Commission read.

And accordingly Mr. Speaker, with the House, went up to the House of Peers; and heard the said Commission read: Which was, for proroguing this Parliament until the Thirtieth Day of June next.

And accordingly this Parliament was prorogued until the Thirtieth Day of June next.
