Sadleir's Estate.

A BILL to enable Sir Edwin Sadleir to sell Lands, to pay his and his Mother's Debts, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Mr. Christy, Mr. Thomson, Mr. Buscawen, Sir Rob. Rich, Sir Hen. Goodrick, Mr. Rebow, Sir Tho. Darcy, Sir John Cary, Mr. Beake, Mr. Manley, Mr. Moor, Sir John Moreton, Mr. Brewer, Sir Tho. Littleton, Mr. Reynell, Mr. Baldwyn, Mr. Niccolls, Mr. Boyle, Mr. White, Mr. Blowfeild, Mr. Parkhurst, Sir Edw. Hussey, Sir Cha. Bloys, Mr. Vincent, Sir Walter Moyle, Sir Fra. Guibon, Sir Ralph Dutton, Colonel Birch, Sir Walter Young, Mr. Serjeant Trenchard, Sir Phil. Gell, Sir Tho. Earl of Radnor's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Charles Bodvile, Earl of Radnor, to make a Jointure, and to raise a Sum of Money out of divers Lands and Tenements in the County of Cornewall, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Mr. Boscawen, Sir Cha. Bloys, Sir Jos. Tredenham, Sir Mat. Andrews, Sir Walt. Moyle, Sir Hen. Nappier, Mr. Brewer, Mr. Bickerstaffe, Major Vincent, Lord Fairfax, Sir Tho. Littleton, Sir Hen. Goodrick, Mr. Baldwyn, Lord Ranelagh, Mr. Rashleigh, Sir Rob. Cotton, Mr. Chivers, Mr. Foley, Colonel Birch, Mr. Moore, and all the Members that serve for the Counties of Cornwall and Devon: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Three of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber: And are impowered to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Yorke have Leave to go into the Country for Three Weeks.

Legrand's, &c. Nat.

An ingrossed Bill for the naturalizing David Legrand, and others, was read the Third time.

Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title thereof be, An Act for the naturalizing David Legrand, and others.

Ordered, That Sir Hen. Goodrick do carry the Bill to the Lords; and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

East India Company.

Ordered, That the Report from the Committee, touching the East India Company, be made upon Monday Morning next.

Lewknor's Wife's illegitimate Children.

A Bill for the Illegitimation of such Child or Children as Jane, the Wife of John Lewknor, Esquire, hath had, or shall have, during her Elopement from her Husband, was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Cinque Ports Elections.

A Bill to declare the Right of Elections of Members to serve in Parliament for the Cinque Ports, was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Indemnifying Persons acting for their Majesties.

Then the House took into Consideration the Amendments come down from the Lords, to the Bill, intituled, An Act for preventing vexatious Suits against such as acted in order to the bringing-in their Majesties, or for their Service: And the same were once read throughout; and afterwards a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House; and are as follow;

2 Skin, 15 Line, after "whatsoever," add "and Judgments had thereupon, if any be."

21 Line, after "discharged," add "and made void."

Ordered, That Sir John Guise do carry the Bill to the Lords; and acquaint them, That this House hath agreed to the said Amendments.

Oath of Allegiance.

A Bill to in join the taking the Oath of Allegiance by all Persons above the Age of Sixteen Years, was read the Second time.

Bills of Indemnity, &c.

Then the Order of the House was read, for the House to resolve into a Committee of the whole House, upon the Bills of general Pardon and Indemnity; and for inflicting Pains and Penalties upon such Persons as should be excepted thereout.

And a Motion was made, and the Question proposed, That it be an Instruction to the said Committee, That they do proceed upon the said Bills, by Nominating of particular Persons:

Whereupon the previous Question being put, That that Question be now put;

The House divided.

The Noes go forth.

So it passed in the Negative.

Then the House resolved into a Committee of the whole House, upon the said Bills.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Resolved, That Mr. Gray do take the Chair of the Committee of the whole House upon the said Bill.

Resolved, That the House do, To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock, resolve into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed upon the said Bills.

Resolved, That all Committees be adjourned, except the Committee to whom the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Charles Bodvile, Earl of Radnor, to make a Jointure, and to raise a Sum of Money out of divers Lands and Tenements in the County of Cornwall, is committed.
