Col. Lundee's Petition.

A PETITION of Colonel Lundee was read; setting forth, That the Petitioner, being informed of an Address made by this House to his Majesty, to send him to Londonderry, representeth, That all the Witnesses, necessary for his Defence, are now in London: And whereas, though he could not be so fortunate to do his Majesty that good Service in his Post, as others; yet, his Majesty's Affairs having not been prejudiced by his Miscarriage; he hopes he shall not be sent to a Place, where he cannot have the Benefit of such Testimony, as will be requisite to make his Innocence appear: And praying, if he may not have the Benefit of the intended Bill of Indemnity, That he may receive his Tryal in England; and, above all, since this House has taken some Examination of the Matter, desires it may be in Parliament.

Message to attend the King.

A Message from his Majesty, by Sir Thomas Duppa, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod;

Mr. Speaker,

The King commands this honourable House to attend His Majesty, in the House of Peers, immediately.

Parliament prorogued.

And accordingly, Mr. Speaker, and the House, went to attend his Majesty: Where the Lord Chief Baron Atkyns, Speaker of the House of Lords, by His Majesty's Command, declared his Majesty's Pleasure, That this Parliament should be prorogued until Wednesday next, being the Three-and-twentieth Instant: And prorogued the same until Wednesday next, accordingly.
