THE Amendments added by the Lower House to the Bill, intituled, An Act to enable Edward Nevill, Lord Bergevenny, and Sir Henry Nevill, Knight, his eldest Son, to alien certain Lands, for Payment of their Debts, and Advancement of their Daughters and younger Sons, were the Third Time read, and allowed, and so the Bill expedited.

Recovery of Marsh Lands, etc. in Norfolk and Suffolk. Expedit.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the speedy Recovery of many Thousand Acres of Marsh Grounds, and other Grounds, within the Counties of Norffolk and Suffolk, lately surrounded by the Rage of the Sea, in divers Parts of the said Counties, and for the Prevention of the Danger of the like surrounding hereafter.

An Act for the better Safety of His Majesty's Person.

Agreed, That the House will presently deal with the Bill for the better Safety of His Majesty's Royal Person, as a Committee, and without the Adjourning of the House.

Message from the H. C. concerning the Contract.

Message from the Lower House, by Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, and others: videlicet,

That the Commons are ready, at any Time, so it be after this Morning, to give Answer to their Lordships, in the great Cause of the Contract.

Answer:

That the Lords will, by their Committees, give Meetings to the Committees of the Lower House, as is desired, To-morrow, being Thursday, the 19th of July, by Nine of the Clock in the Morning, in the Painted Chamber.

Agreed, That, Half an Hour before Nine To-morrow in the Morning, the Lords will here meet, and advise touching the Conference then, at Nine of the Clock, to be had with the Committees of the Lower House.

An Act for the better Safety of His Majesty's Person.

Note, That, as well before the Adjournment of the House as after, the Lords, as Committees; did treat concerning the Bill, intituled, An Act for the better Safety of His Majesty's Royal Person; and, for that Time then served not for full Debate thereof, therefore further Consideration of the same was referred until Tomorrow Morning, at Eight of the Clock.
