The Secondary of The Compter, and the Serjeant of London.

This Day, the Secondary of The Compter was brought into the House, and William Wood, the Serjeant of London (according to the Order of the Court), whereupon the said Secondary (clearing himself sufficiently in their Lordships Judgements, that he had not persuaded the Arrest of Foster, the Earl of Southampton's Servant, as he had been accused by the said Serjeant) was forthwith discharged of any further Attendance; and also the said Serjeant (upon his earnest Protestation, that he was sorry for his Offence, and at the Request of the Earl himself in his Behalf) was likewise dismissed and discharged.
