HODIE 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for Confirmation of certain Lands to Sir William Smith, Knight, against a pretended Right of the Warden and College of All Souls, in Oxford, according to the Award of divers Lords of His Majesty's most Honourable Privy Council, and divers Judges of the Realm, by Consent of the said Warden and College.
Vicarage of Cheshunt to the Earl of Salisbury. Rectory of Orsett to the Bishop of London. Expedit.
The Bill, intituled, An Act for assuring of the Vicarage of Chesthunt, to Robert Earl of Salisbury and his Heirs; and of the Advowson of the Rectory of Orsett, to Richard Bishop of London and his Successors, was brought this Day from the Lower House, by Sir Edward Hobbie and others, with certain Amendments by them thought meet to be added; which Amendments were presently Thrice read, and thereupon the Bill Exped.
