Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the avoiding of such Trouble and Inconveniencies as hath grown in the affeiring, streiting, and levying of certain Fines and Amerciaments, in the King's Majesty's Court at Westminster.

Manor and Borough of Lachelade to Bathurst.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Confirmation of the King's Majesty's Letters Patents, made to Robert Bathurst, Esquire, of the Manor and Borough of Lachelade, in the County of Gloucester.

Upon Occasion of the presenting of this Bill to the House, the Earl of Salisbury made a Motion, That, in regard sundry others His Majesty's Subjects had compounded with His Majesty for the like defective Titles, and he held it reasonable that the like Order might be taken for their safe enjoying of that which they had compounded for, as by this particular Bill was intended for Mr. Bathurst, therefore some general Bill for that Purpose might be drawn, and offered to the House to be considered of.

The Motion seconded by the Lord Chancellor, and approved by the House; and thereupon Resolved, That some of His Majesty's Counsel Learned, should have Direction to draw a Bill to that Effect.
