HODIE 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act to prevent and avoid Dangers, which may grow by Popish Recusants.
The Sacrament.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act against such as, coming to Church, do refuse to receive the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper.
Brewing.
The Bill concerning brewing of Beer and Ale, &c. was this Day brought into the House, by the Lord Knollis, one of the Committees, with certain Amendments, which were presently Twice read; and thereupon the Bill, with the said Amendments, appointed to be ingrossed.
Skinners.
The Amendments on the Bill for the Relief of such as lawfully use the Trade and Handicraft of Skinners, were also Twice read this Day; and the Bill, with the said Amendments, likewise appointed to be ingrossed.
Matters Ecclesiastical.
Signification given by the Lord Archbishop of Cant. That himself, and such others as were called and appointed for his Assistance, have framed a Bill, which they conceive fit to be offered to the Lords, concerning the Matter of Excommunication (which was required by His Majesty to be proceeded in this Session); and that his Lordship would bring and present the same unto the House upon Monday or Tuesday next.
