THE Amendments on the Bill, intituled, An Act to establish in the Crown the Lands and Possessions of Henrie late Lord Cobham, and George Brooke, Esquire, attainted of High Treason, with a Confirmation of Grants made by His Majesty, were this Day Twice read; and thereupon the Bill, with the said Amendments, appointed to be ingrossed.

The Amendments on the Bill, intituled, An Act for the Punishment of prophane, blasphemous, and irreligious Swearing, were also this Day Twice read.

The Bill, intituled, An Act for the Repeal of One Act, made in the Fourteenth Year of Queen Elizabeth's Reign, concerning the Length of Kersies, was brought into the House, by the Lord Treasurer, the first of the Committees, without Alteration or Amendment, as allowed of, in the Judgment of the said Committees, to be a good Bill, and meet to pass; and thereupon the said Bill tertia vice lecta.

Message also delivered by the said Sir John Fortescu, from the Lower House, That, concerning the Motion made by the Lords, for deferring the Matter of the Union, until the next Session of Parliament, they leave it to the Consideration of the Lords (who are best acquainted with that Matter) to take such Course therein as they shall think most convenient, by some Bill to be begun in the Higher House for that Purpose.

RESOLVED by the Lords, That the Lord Chief Justice, and the rest of the Judges, together with his Majesty's Counsel Learned, shall accordingly draw a Bill, and present it to the House.

Purveyors.

Message sent to the Lower House, by Mr. Serjeant Crooke and Sir Edward Stanhope: That the Lords, upon Consideration of the Message sent from them upon Saturday last, for a new Conference touching the Bill of Purveyors, do assent thereunto; though such Second Conferences be rare and extraordinary; and that they appoint the same Committees for this, that were for the former Conferences on that Bill, and will come attended with the Judges, and the King's Learned Counsel, by whom their Lordships Judgments (as upon other Occasions from Time to Time, so in this Particular) must be informed; and will meet (if they think it good) Tomorrow, being Tuesday, 15th April, by Three in the Afternoon, at the Painted Chamber.

Answer, That they will be ready to attend the Conference, at the Time and Place assigned.
