The Bill, intituled, An Act to reform Multitudes of unnecessary and inconvenient Buildings, &c. was brought into the House, by the Lord Archbishop of Canterbury, the first of the Committees, who made Report, That the said Committees, having considered of the Bill, and finding that the chief Points contained therein are already provided for, by an Act made Anno Quinto Eliz. and the rest to be of some Difficulty, do think the said Bill unmeet to be further proceeded in; whereunto the House did also agree.

Sea Coals.
Upon Signification given to the House, by the Earl of Northampton, That the Bill concerning Sea Coals, formerly referred to Committees, was not by them thought meet to be proceeded in; and neverthless, finding it very convenient and needful, that the Abuses in the Sale of those Coals might be reformed, the Judges, and such of His Majesty's Learned Counsel as are under named, were appointed to consider thereof, and to draw a new Bill for that Purpose, to be presented to the House: videlicet,

Lords excused.
Excuse made by the Lord Chancellor, for the Absence of the Lord Treasurer, for Want of Health; who therefore sent Two Bills, that remained in his Lordship's Hands, to the Clerk of the Parliament, to be delivered to the other Committees; the one concerning decayed Cities and Towns, and the other for Confirmation of Letters Patents to Mr. Pelham; the latter of which was presently delivered to the Earl of Worcester, the second of the Committees on that Bill.
The like Excuse made by his Lordship for the Earls of Devon and Mountgomery, by Reason of their Attendance at this Time on the King's Majesty's Person.
