Jesuits, Recusants, etc.
The Bill, intituled, An Act for the due Execution of the Statutes against Jesuits, Seminary Priests, Recusants, etc. was returned to the House, by the Lord Chancellor, the first of the Committees, with certain Amendments; which Amendments being many, infomuch that they could not well be inserted in the Bill, his Lordship signified, That the Lords Committees thought fit to offer a new Bill to the House, agreeing in Substance with the former Bill, adding the said Amendments; which new Bill was this Day prima vice lecta.
