Memorandum, That it was this Day Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal of the Higher House of Parliament, That, whereas Thomas Rushe, Servant in ordinary to the Earl of Sussex, was of late arrested (contrary to the Privilege of the said High Court) at the Suit of one John Hull, Citizen and Mercer of London, the said Hull, and Richard Collie, being one of the Serjeants that arrested him, having this Day made their Appearance in the Court, and not shewed any sufficient Cause by their Answer to justify the Arrest, shall be committed Prisoners to The Fleet, there to remain till the Court shall give Order for their Enlargement; and Commandment given accordingly to the Serjeant at Arms, for Delivery of them to the Warden of The Fleet.
Neville of Abergavenny's Petition, for the Barony of Abergavenny.
Upon the humble Petition of Edward Nevile, of Bergevenie, made to His Majesty, in Form as followeth; That it would please His most Excellent Majesty (of His most Gracious Inclination to support the Nobility of this His Realm of England) to vouchsafe that the lawful Claim of His Highness's said most humble Subject and Suppliant, to the Name, Style, and Dignity of Baron of Bergevenie, may be heard, and, with His Highness's Allowance, determined by the Lords and Peers of this Realm, in the High Court of Parliament, according as His Majesty's most Gracious Pleasure heretofore hath been therein declared; and, as the late Sovereign Queen Elizabeth, and other His Noble Progenitors and Predecessors, have heretofore referred Causes of like Nature; and, upon the Signification of His Majesty's Pleasure to the Upper House, concerning the same, expressed by the signing of the Petition with his own Hand, and Reference (by a Note therein underwritten) of the Cause to the Higher House of Parliament, it is Agreed and Ordered, by full Consent of the House, That Hearing shall be given unto the said Cause, by the Court of the Higher House; and that the Petitioner and the Competitor shall have Warning to attend the Court on Thursday in Easter Week, the 12th of this Month of April, to proceed in such Sort as they shall be advised by their Counsel Learned.

The Lord Chancellor reported to the House, That the Lord Audeley was licensed by the King's Majesty to travel to The Bath, for Recovery of his Health, whereof his Lordship received Signification from the Earl of Northampton.
