THIS Day, John Crooke, Esquire, Recorder of the City of London, being chosen Prolocutor, or Speaker, of the Lower House, was, by divers of the Knights and Burgesses, brought up into the Higher House, and presented to Her Majesty and the House, by the Hands of Sir William Knollys, Comptroller of Her Majesty's Household, Sir John Fortescu, Chancellor of the Exchequer, and Mr. Secretary Herbert.
