DIE Mercurii, 22 die Martii,
Domini tam Spirituales quam Temporales, quorum nomina subsequuntur, præsentes fuerunt:
Continuing Statutes.
HODIE 2a et 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Continuance and Perfecting of divers Statutes, quæ communi omnium Procerum Assensu conclusa est, with an Amendment, et tradita est Servienti Gawdie, et Doctori Carewe, in Domum Communem deferenda.
Hodie allata est a Domo Communi Billa:
Hanford.
An Act for the Sale of Thomas Hanford's Lands.
Lords refuse to read a Bill from the H. C. they having rejected one to the same Effect, without Conference with any of the Lords.
The Lords having before passed a Bill to the same Effect, and sent it down to the Commons House, and there rejected without Conference with some of the Lords of this House, the Lords thought it a Precedent so strange, and so far different from the Orders of this House, that they of the Commons House should reject a Bill sent from this House, without Conference, and frame a New Bill to the same Effect, and send it up, that they did Resolve to put it to the Question, Whether this New Bill should, by the Orders of the House, be read here or not. The whole House, being particularly asked their Opinions herein, with one Assent concluded, not one gain-saying, that it should not be read.
Adjourn.
Dominus Capitalis Justiciarius de Placito Communi continuavit præsens Parliamentum usque in diem Jovis proximum, hora nona.
