2. The Bill against Benedict Smythe for the Murder of Giles Rufford:
It is Ordered, That Rufford's Wife be Suitor to the Queen, that Smyth be brought hither from the Tower.
Duke of Norfolk.
The Duke of Norfolk, with Four Serjeants at Law, came to this House; and required his Bill to be furthered ; and declared the Special Points of his Bill; and then departed out:
Whereupon Mr. S. Petre, with Three other, were sent to him, to shew him, that the House would consider the Case.
Smyth to be brought up.
The House desireth, that Two of the Council may move the Queen, that Smyth, and his Accusers, may be brought personally to this House.
