Leave of Absence.

ORDERED, That Mr. Duckett have the Leave of this House to go into the Country.

Devizes Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for electing a new Member to serve for the Devizes in Wiltsheere, in the stead of Wm. Yorke Esquire, deceased.

Bricks and Tiles.

A Bill for regulating the Making of Brick and Tile was read the First time.

Ordered, That this Bill be read a Second time To-morrow Morning.

Bishop of Duresme's Estate.

A Bill for enabling the Lord Bishop of Duresme to grant a Lease, for Three Lives, to Humfry Wharton Esquire, of certain Lead Mines, was read the First time.

Ordered, That this Bill be read a Second time on Wednesday next.

Bodvile's Estate.

Ordered, That the Report concerning Mr. Robart's Bill be made To-morrow Morning.

Poll Bill.

A Bill for raising Part of the One million Eight hundred thousand Pounds Supply for his Majesty by a Poll . . . was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House: And that the Committee be impowered to appoint some Persons to inspect the Heads of the Bill; and to bring in an Estimate, What Sum of Money may be raised on the Bill.

Canary Patent.

Ordered, That a Message be sent to the Lords, to desire them to take into Consideration the Votes of this House concerning the Patent of the Canary Company.

And Mr. Seymour is to go up to the Lords with this Message.

Poll Bill.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, upon the Poll Bill, for his Majesty's Supply.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Steward took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Steward reports, That the Committee of the whole House had entered upon the Poll Bill; and made some Progress therein: And humbly moved, That the House would resolve into a Committee of the whole House, To-morrow at Ten of the Clock, to proceed therein.

Resolved, That the House will resolve into a Committee of the whole House, To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock, to proceed upon the Poll Bill, for his Majesty's Supply.

Goring House.

Ordered, That the Committee to which the Bill for Sale of Goring House is committed, be revived; and do sit on Thursday, Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Place formerly appointed: And Sir Thomas Meres and Mr. Whorwood are added to the said Committee.
