Bishop of Winton's Estate.

AN ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, to enable the Lord Bishop of Winton to settle One hundred Acres of Land on the Rector of Bishop Waltham, in lieu of the Tythe of Waltham Parks, with the Amendments made by this House, was read the Third time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be agreed to.

And Mr. Sandys is to carry up the Bill to the Lords.

Uniting Churches.

An ingrossed Bill for uniting of Churches in Cities, and Towns Corporate, was read.

The Question being put, That the Clause in the Bill, for Ministers to reside constantly, and officiate at the Church, do stand in the Bill;

It passed in the Negative.

And that Clause was rased out of the Bill.

Resolved, &c. That these Words, "and the Parishes thereto belonging," be added to the Bill.

Ordered, That these Words, "within the said Corporation or Liberties thereof," be added to the Bill.

Ordered, That the Words "or Officers" be inserted into the Bill, instead of "called Aldermen."

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the Title shall be, An Act for uniting of Churches in Cities and Towns Corporate.

London, &c. Streets.

Ordered, That the Committee to which the Bill touching the Highways, Streets, and Sewers, in and near the Cities of London and Westminster, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon: And these Members following are added to the Committee; viz. Sir Edm. Pooley, Sir Edw. Walpoole, Sir Wm. Doyley, Sir Job. Charleton, Sir John Birkenhead, Sir Tho. Meres, Sir Hen. Yelverton, Sir Edm. Peirce, Sir Wm. Fleetwood, Sir Anth. Irby, Sir Jo. Denham, Mr. Musgrave, Mr. Wren, Mr. Thomas, Mr. Chicheley, Mr. Chetwyn, Mr. Crouch, Mr. Morrice, Colonel Phillips, Mr. Croke, and all the Members of this House that serve for the City of London: And all that shall come are to have Voices.

Privilege.

Sir Job Charleton reports from the Committee of Privileges, That the Committee had examined the Matter of Breach of Privilege, complained of to be committed by Walter Devereux, and others, in commencing and prosecuting a Suit at Law, in which the Interest of Richard Lucy Esquire, a Member of this House, is concerned: That the Committee did find, That the Suit was commenced; and that Mr. Lucy was turned out of Possession of certain Lands in the Manor of Idlicott in the County of Warwick, belonging unto him the said Mr. Lucy, during the Privilege of Parliament: And that the Committee had agreed Two Votes to be reported, as their Opinions, to the House: Which he read, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the same being again read, were as followeth; viz.

1. That Mr. Richard Lucy ought to be restored to his Possession.

2. That if Walter Devereux, and Robert Devereux, Lessor and Lessee in the Ejectment, upon Notice, either personally given, or left at their respective Houses, or usual Places of Abode, of the Order of the House herein, do not restore the Possession of the Lands afore-mentioned within Two Days after such Notice, then they shall stand committed to the Serjeant at Arms, till they restore the Possession to the said Mr. Lucy.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Committee, That Mr. Lucy ought to be restored to his Possession; and that, if Walter Devereux, and Robert Devereux, being Lessor and Lessee in the Ejectment, upon Notice, either personally given, or left at their respective Houses, or usual Places of Abode, of the Order of the House herein, do not restore the Possession of the Lands afore-mentioned within Two Days after such Notice, then they shall stand committed to the Serjeant at Arms, till they restore the Possession to the said Mr. Lucy.

Ordered, That all further Proceedings at Law against Mr. Lucy, in relation to the Lands afore-mentioned, be staid.

Loyal Officers.

Sir John Birkenhead informs the House, That the Commissioners nominated in the Act touching the loyal indigent Commission Officers, had proceeded in the Examination of the Matter touching the Money to be distributed amongst the said Officers; and had agreed upon a Report to be tendered to the House: Which he read in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the same being read;

Resolved, &c. That the Committee of this House, to which the Matter touching the indigent loyal Officers was formerly committed, be revived; and do meet Tomorrow in the Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, in the Place formerly appointed; and do state the Case, upon the Act of Parliament touching the indigent loyal Officers; and whether the Powers in the said Act have been pursued; and whether there have been any Miscarriages committed in receiving or paying the Money; and by whom: And to send for and examine such Persons as shall be complained of, or concerned; and report the Matter to the House: And that Sir Robert Atkins, and Mr. Pryn be added to the Committee: And Mr. Pryn is desired to take care thereof.

Avon Navigation.

The Amendments and Provisoes, sent from the Lords, to the Bill for making navigable the River Avon from Christ Church to New Sarum, were twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to; and then read the Third time.

Resolved, &c. That the Amendments and Provisoes be agreed to; and made Part of the Bill.

Abbotts Anne Manor.

Sir Thomas Higgons reports from the Committee to which the Bill to enable the Lord Henry Pawlett, George Withers, and John Mompesson, to sell the Manor of Abbotts Anne, was committed; That they had carefully perused the Bill; and found no Cause to make any Amendments thereto: And delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be read a Third time, Tomorrow Morning.

Jurors.

Mr. Pryn reports from the Committee to which the Bill for regulating of Jurors was re-committed, That the Committee had agreed some Amendments to be made thereto: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
