AMELA Hardwick and Cornelius Vandeurs did, this Day, take the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, in order to their being naturalized.

Ordered, That the said Amela Hardwick and Cornelius Vandeurs be inserted into the Bill for Naturalization.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Trevanion have the Leave of this House to go into the Country.

Glenham's Estate.

Ordered, That the Lord Ancram and Colonel Sandys, be added to the Committee to which the Bill concerning the Lady Glenham is committed.

Ordered, That these Members following be added to the Committee to which the Bill for Naturalization of Dame Catherine Sayers, and others, . . . . .; viz. Lord Richardson, Lord Fanshaw, Sir Rich. Ordered, That Sir Francis Goodrick, Mr. Dowdeswell, be added to the Committee to which the Bill concerning Malverne Chace is committed.

Poole's Estate.

Ordered, That the Bill for settling the Manors and Lands, late belonging to Sir William Poole, be read the Second time on Tuesday next.

College of Physicians.

A Bill for Confirmation of Letters Patents granted by his Majesty to the College of Physicians in the City of London, was read the Second time.

Another Bill, containing Provisoes on the Behalf of the Surgeons and Apothecaries, was read the Second time.

Another Proviso was tendered, on the Behalf of the Apothecaries.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bills, with the Proviso, be committed to Sir John Goodrick, Lord Fanshaw, Sir Lanc. Lake, Mr. Morrice, Sir Francis Goodrick, Sir Tho. Gower, Mr. Wren, Sir John Birkenhead, Sir Tho. Allen, Dr. Quarterman, Sir Tho. Higgons, Sir John Brampston, Sir Tho. Fanshaw, Mr. Hen. Coventry, Sir Rich. Everard, Sir George Ryve, Sir Wm. Gawdy, Mr. Biscawen, Sir Allen Broderick, Sir Tho. Bludworth, Sir Rich. Temple, Sir Hugh Bethell, Sir Gilbert Gerrard, Sir Hen. Wood, Sir Rich. Onslow, Mr. Waller, Sir Robert Atkins, Sir Anth. Ordered, That the Committee to which the Bill concerning the Physicians is committed, be joined to the Committee to which the Bill for Levying of Forfeitures, incurrred by Vintners, &c. is committed.

Conventicles.

Sir Job Charleton reports from the Committee to which the Bill against seditious Conventicles was committed, several Amendments to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

Which Amendments were read the First time.

The several Amendments were read the Second time: And all the Amendments, except the Amendment to the Ninth Line of the Fourth Folio, were, upon the Question, agreed to.

And, upon the Second Reading of that Amendment, these Words, "or give the special Matter in Evidence," were, upon the Question, agreed to be inserted in that Amendment: And the Amendment, with the Addition of these Words, agreed to.

Several Provisoes were twice read; and, on the Question, agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That the said Amendment be agreed to: And that the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Lords agree to Conference.

Mr. Clifford reports, That the Lords had agreed to a present Conference upon the Vote concerning Foreign Trade.

Silkthrowers.

A Petition of the Silkthrowers of London was read.

Ordered, That this Petition be referred to the same Committee to which the several Petitions of the Clothiers of the old and new Woollen Draperies were formerly committed; to take the Petition into Consideration; and report the Matter, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Leave to attend Lords.

Ordered, That all such Members of this House as are of Counsel with Sir John Packington, have the Leave of this House to attend his Cause, depending before the Lords.

Pluralities.

A Bill against Pluralities was this Day read the First time.

Ordered, That this Bill be read the Second time on Tuesday next.

Merchants Ships.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom the Bill for preventing the Delivering up of English Ships to Turkish Ships and Pirates, . . . . be revived; and do meet this Afternoon at Two of the Clock, in the Place formerly appointed.

Chester Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ, for a Knight of the Shire for the County of Chester, in the room of William Lord Brereton, lately deceased.

And then the House adjourned till Tuesday next, at Eight of the Clock in the Morning.
