Hide Park Water.

A Bill for the Continuance and Enjoyment of certain Waters brought from and about Hide Park to the Cities of Westminster, and Places adjacent, was read the Second time.

Indigent Officers.

Sir John Birkenhead reports from the Committee to which the Petition of the truly loyal indigent Commission Officers was committed, That it is the Opinion of the Committee, That it be reported to the House, That, all other Ways having been tried, the only Means for speedy Bringing in of the Money due to the loyal indigent Officers, is, That the House would be pleased to send for the Receivers General of the Six Counties of Cornewall, Lancaster, Monmouth, Rutland, Westmorland, and Anglesey, by a Serjeant at Arms.

Which Report being read; and debated;

Resolved, &c. That Mr. Charles Grills, Receiver General for the County of Cornewall; Sir George Middleton, Receiver General for the County of Lancaster; George Guynn Esquire, Receiver General for the County of Monmouth; and William Palmes Esquire, Receiver General for the County of Rutland; be sent for in the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms, or his Deputy, to answer their Abuse and Misdemeanor, in not paying in the Money by them received, for the indigent loyal Officers, to the Treasurer appointed to receive the same.

Ordered, That an Order of Summons be sent to the Receiver General of the Counties of Westmorland and Anglesey, to give them Notice, That, if they do not forthwith accompt and pay in to the Treasurer, the Monies by them received for the loyal and indigent Officers, they shall be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms, to answer their Abuse and Default therein.

Church Lands.

A Bill for apportioning Rents, and preventing concurrent Leases of the Lands of Bishops, or other Ecclesiastical Persons, was read the Second Time.

Hackney Manor.

A Bill for settling the Manor of Hackney in Middlesex, for the better and speedy Satisfying of some of the Debts of the Earl of Cleveland and the Lord Wentworth, and others, was this Day read.

Ordered, That this Bill be read the Second time the First Day of the Meeting after Easter.

Writs of Error.

An ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, for Preventing of Abatements of Writs of Error upon Judgments in the Exchequer, was read the Second time.

Merchants Ships.
