New Buildings.

A BILL to prevent the further Erecting and Increase of new Buildings in and about the Cities of London and Westminster, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time on This-day-sevennight.

Selling live Cattle.

A Bill for preventing the Selling of live fat Cattle, by Butchers, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be committed to Sir Edm. Pooley, Sir Robert Atkyns, Sir Hen. Worsley, Mr. Knight, Lord Castleton, Sir John Brampston, Colonel Gilby, Sir John Covert, Sir Lanc. Lake, Mr. Attorney of the Duchy, Mr. Buller, Mr. Gaudy, Sir Bain. Throckmorton, Mr. Lowther, Mr. Westphaling, Sir John Duncombe, Sir Rich. Lloyd, Lord Ancram, Mr. Street, Sir Norton Knatchbull, Sir Phil. Warwick, Sir Hen. North, Sir Wm. Tirringham, Mr. Kent, Sir John Rouse, Mr. Clifford, Colonel Kirkby, Sir John Denham, Mr. Culleford, Mr. John Vaughan, Mr. Wandesford, Sir Cha. Hussey, Sir Tho. Peyton, Mr. Wm. Gower: And they are to meet on This-day-sevennight at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Importing Madder.

Mr. Street reports from the Committee appointed to inspect the Act for importing Madder pure and unmixed, That the Committee had carefully perused and examined the Act; and, upon hearing the Dyers, and other Persons skilled and concerned in the Art of Dying, did find the Act very destructive to the Trade of Dying; and of much Damage to the Publick: And that the Committee were of Opinion, That the same ought to be repealed: And did therefore desire the Leave of the House for an Enacting Clause to be brought in, to be added to the Bill for Advance of Trade, to repeal the said Act touching Madder.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree in Opinion with the Committee; and do order, That Leave be given for bringing in an Enacting Clause, to be added to the Bill for Advance of Trade, to repeal the Act concerning the Importing of Madder.

Preventing Popery, &c.

Ordered, That the Proviso directed to be brought into the Bill to prevent the Growth of Popery, be prepared and brought in on This-day-sevennight: And the Clerk of the House is to give Notice hereof to Mr. Serjeant Maynard, that he may prepare and bring it in accordingly.

Ministers Maintenance.

Ordered, That this House will, on To-morrow-sevennight, resolve into a Committee of the whole House, to take into Consideration the Bill for the Increase of the Maintenance of Ministers, in Cities, Towns Corporate, and Market Towns.

Excise Collection.

Ordered, That the Bill for the better Ordering and Collecting the Duty of Excise, be read the First Day of the Meeting of this House, after Whitsuntide, being the Day appointed for reading the other Bill concerning the Excise, the Second time.

Lyndsey Level.

Ordered, That the Report of the Bill concerning Lyndsey Level, be heard on Monday-sevennight.

Privilege- Publication of Proceedings.

The House taking notice, That several Votes and Proceedings of the House were, without Leave or Order, printed and published in the common News Books;

Ordered, That none of the Votes, Orders, or Proceedings of this House, be put in Print, or published, without the especial Order, and Leave of this House.

Coal Trade.

Ordered, That Leave be given for the bringing in a Bill for the better regulating the Coal Trade.

Crown Revenue.

The House did then resume the Consideration of the remaining Heads of the Report, returned from the Committee of the King's Revenue.

And the said several Heads, being read the Second time, were, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

The Computations made by the Committee, at the Foot of the Report of the several Particulars of the Two Columns of the Report, was twice read.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Committee, in the Computations, by them made, of the particular Sums, in the Two Columns of the Report.

Resolved, &c. That this House will, on Friday next, at Ten of the Clock, take into Consideration the Improvement of his Majesty's Revenue upon this Report.

The House adjourns itself till Friday next, Nine Clock in the Morning.
