Privilege.

Upon Information, That one Humphrey Davies, an Attorney, had commenced Actions at Law, to try the Title of certain Bullaries of Salt Water, lying in and near the Borough of Droytwich in the County of Worcester, one against Barrett and Clifford, Officers of that Corporation: and intends to proceed in the said Actions, although Sir John Packington, Sir John Talbot, and others, Members of this House, do claim a Title in the said Bullaries of Salt Water;

Ordered, That the said Humphrey Dawyes, or any other Persons, his Assigns and Agents, be enjoined, at their Peril, to stay all further Proceedings at Law, touching the said Bullaries of Salt Water, lying in Droytwich beforementioned, during the Session of this present Parliament.

Regulating Vestries.

Serjeant Charlton reports from the Committee to which the Bill for the better regulating Vestries was committed, several Amendments to be made to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the Amendments being read the First time; and the First Amendment to the * Line of the * Folio, being read the Second time, was, upon the Question, agreed to.

The Question being put, That the Bill be re-committed, upon the present Debate of the House, to the former Committee;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have sent you a Bill for the Improvement of Ashdowne Forest, and the Park, called the Broyle Park: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House. They have also returned you a Bill to enable John Robinson Esquire to sell or dispose Lands, for Payment of his Debts, and making Provision for his younger Children; with some Amendments and Alterations: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Sale of Offices.

A Bill for Discovery, punishing, and preventing Frauds and Abuses in Buying and Selling of Offices, was this Day read the Second time.
