Hackney Coachmen.
Ordered, That the Committee to which the Petition of the Hackney Coachmen was committed, be revived: And they are to sit this Afternoon at Two of the Clock, in the Place formerly appointed.
Grocers Free School.
Mr. Dennis reports from the Committee to which the Bill for the Incorporating of the Master and Wardens of the Company of Grocers, London, to be Governors of the Free School in Whitney, in the County of Oxford, of the Foundation of Henry Box Esquire, Citizen and Grocer of London, and for the Settling of Lands and Possessions on that School, for the Maintenance thereof, was committed, several Amendments to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.
And the several Amendments, unto the Amendment in the Tenth Line of the Sixth Page, were read the Second time; and, upon the Question, agreed to.
The Amendment to the Tenth Line of the Sixth Page, being to insert these Words, "not having formerly taken the said Oaths," was read the Second time.
The Question being put, To agree to that Amendment;
It passed in the Negative.
The rest of the Amendments were read the Second time; and, upon the Question, agreed to.
Resolved, &c. That this Bill, with the Amendments and Alterations agreed to, be ingrossed.
Seignior's Estate.
Sir Thomas Tompkins reports from the Committee to which the Bill for Sale of Part of the Lands late of Richard and Anthony Seignior, in the County of Derby, was committed, That the Committee had heard all Parties, and carefully perused the Bill; and found no Cause to make any Alteration or Amendment thereto.
Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be ingrossed.
Artificers, &c.
A Bill for Supply of several Defects of some Statutes, heretofore made, for the Benefit of Artificers and Handicraftsmen, was this Day read the Second time.
Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be committed to the Committee for Trade.
Message from the King.
Mr. Secretary Morice reports a Message from his Majesty, in Writing: Which he delivered to Mr. Speaker: And the same was twice read; and was as followeth:

HIS Majesty is unwilling to enlarge upon the Address lately made to Him by His House of Commons, or to reply to the Reasons; though He finds what He had said much misunderstood: But renews His hearty Thanks to them, for their Expressions of so great Duty and Affection; and for their free Declaration, "That, if any Persons shall presume to disturb the Peace of the Kingdom, they will for ever, and in all Occasions, be ready, with their utmost Endeavours and Assistance, to adhere to, and serve his Majesty:" And doth very heartily desire them so to enable Him, and to put the Kingdom into such a Posture, as, if any Disturbance, or seditious Designs, arise, they may be easily suppressed.

Resolved, &c. That the humble Thanks of this House be returned to the King's Majesty, for his gracious Message to this House: And such Members of this House, as are of his Majesty's honourable Privy Council, are to present the Thanks of this House to his Majesty.
Resolved, &c. That this House do, on Wednesday next, take into Consideration the Matter of the King's Majesty's Revenue, and the Militia; and proceed therein, alternis vicibus, de die in diem.
Ordered, That the Members of this House, appointed to return the Thanks of this House to his Majesty, do acquaint his Majesty, That the House, in pursuance of his Majesty's Message, had appointed Wednesday next to take his Majesty's Revenue, and also the Militia for the Preservation of the Peace of the Kingdom, into Consideration, de die in diem, alternis vicibus.
Ministers Maintenance.
A Bill for the Increase of the Maintenance of Ministers in Cities, Towns Corporate, and Market Towns, was this Day read the Second time.

Ordered, That Sir Wm. Hickman, Colonel Gilby, Sir Tho. Strickland, Colonel Robinson, Mr. Pursell, Mr. Bagnall, Sir Gilbert Gerrard, Mr. Strickland, and Mr. Talbot, be added to the Committee to whom the Two Bills concerning Rogues and Vagabonds is committed.
