Hilton's Charities.

A BILL for the settling certain charitable Uses upon the Will of Henry Hilton Esquire, deceased, was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the said Bill be committed to Mr. Solicitor General, Sir Rich. Onslow, Mr. Pryn, Sir Lancelot Lake, Sir Tho. Earl of Huntington's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, to confirm the Sale of certain Lands sold by Ferdinando Earl of Huntington, for Payment of his own and his Father's Debts, was this Day read the Second time.

Exportation of Wool.

Ordered, That the Committee to which the Bill against exporting Wool and Wool-fells was committed, be revived; and do sit To-morrow in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And Mr. Scawen is added to the said Committee.

Duke of Richmond's Estate.

Sir Solomon Swale reports from the Committee, to which the Bill for settling the Estate of James late Duke of Richmond and Lenox was committed, several Amendments to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

Resolved, That the said Amendments be read To-morrow: And that the Bill, with such of the Amendments as shall be agreed to, be then read the Third time.

Marq. of Winchester's Estate.

Sir Solomon Swale does also report from the Committee, to which the Bill for confirming the Estate of John Lord Marquis of Winchester, in certain Manors and Lands, whereof the Deeds and Evidences were burnt and lost at the Taking of the Castle of Basing, was committed, that the Committee had carefully perused the Bill, and found no Defect, nor saw any Cause to make any Amendment or Alteration therein.

Ordered, That the said Bill be read the Third time To-morrow Morning.

Lee's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill to enable Sir Thomas Lee to make an Exchange of Lands to be settled for his Wife's Jointure, in lieu of the Lands first settled, was this Day read the Third time.

Resolved, That the said Bill do pass: And that the Title shall be, An Act to enable Sir Thomas Lee Baronet to exchange some Lands settled upon his Wife for her Jointure, for other Lands in lieu thereof.

Restoring Ld. Culpeper.

Another ingrossed Bill for confirming an Act for restoring the Lord Culpeper to his Lands and Estate, was this Day read the Third time.

Resolved, That the said Bill do pass: And that the Title shall be * * * *.

And Sir Robert Brooke is to carry up those Two Bills to the Lords.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir William Bird and Sir Nathaniell Hobart;

Mr. Speaker, the Lords have sent you down a Bill, to enable the Lord Bishop of London to make Leases of the Tenements new built upon the Scite of his Palace in London; to which they desire your Concurrence:

And have also returned you a Bill, sent from this House, to enable Rowland Okeover Esquire to sell certain Lands in the County of Derby, with an Amendment; to which they also desire your Concurrence.

Privilege- Persons discharged.

Ordered, That Sir Thomas Longvile, his Lady and Servants, and other the Persons named in the Order of the Fifth of this Month, who, by that Order, were committed to the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms for their Breach of Privilege therein mentioned, be discharged of their Commitment, paying their Fees.

Bills sent to Lords, &c.

Ordered, That Sir Wm. Compton do carry up the Bill to the Lords, for ordering the Forces in the several Counties of this Kingdom; and do put the Lords in mind of the Bill concerning Sheriffs; and desire them to give it a Dispatch.

Ordered, That Sir Courtney Poole do carry up the Bill to the Lords for an Imposition on Hearths and Stoves, and put them in mind of the Bill for restoring Impropriations; and to give it a Dispatch.

Frauds in Customs.

Mr. Clifford reports from the Committee, to which the Bill for preventing Frauds and Abuses in, and for regulating, his Majesty's Customs, was committed, several Amendments and Alterations to the said Bill, and Provisoes to be added thereto: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered them in at the Clerk's Table: And the same being twice read, and some of them, upon the Question, agreed to, and several Alterations being, upon the Question, agreed to, and made to some other of the said Amendments and Provisoes; and the same, with those Alterations, upon the Question, being agreed to;

Resolved, That the Bill, with the Amendments and Provisoes agreed to, be ingrossed.

Salt.

Ordered, That the Committee of the King's Revenue, to which the Matter concerning Salt was referred, be revived; and do sit To-morrow in the Afternoon, in the former Place.

Fishing Trade.

Ordered, That the Members of this House, which serve for Suffolke and Essex, be added to the Committee to which the Bill concerning Fishing is committed: And Mr. Ellyot and Mr. Boscowen are added to the said Committee.
