Bedford Level.

ORDERED, That all such Members of this House, that shall come to the Committee to which the Bill concerning the Great Level of the Fens, called Bedford Level, is committed, shall have Voices at the said Committee.

Bengeworth Bridge.

Ordered, That the Committee to which the Bill for Repair of Bengeworth Bridge, is committed, be revived; and do sit on Saturday next.

Nat. Bill.

Ordered, That the Bill of Naturalizing be read To-morrow Morning.

The Question being put, That the Order made Yesterday for the Commitment of Sir Thomas Longvile and his Lady, and other Persons therein named, to the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms, for a Breach of Privilege objected against them, shall stand;

The House was divided.
The Noes went out.

And so it was resolved in the Affirmative; That the Order made Yesterday do stand.

Lee's Estate.

A Bill to enable Sir Tho. Lee Baronet to exchange the Lands settled upon his Wife's Marriage, was this Day read the First time.

Ordered, That this Bill be read the Second time To-morrow.

Restoring Lord Culpepper.

A Bill to confirm an Act of the last Convention, for restoring the Lord Culpepper to his Estate, was this Day read the First time.

Ordered, That this Bill be read the Second time To-morrow Morning.

Southwarke, &c. Court of Conscience.

A Bill to erect a Court of Conscience for Southwarke, Westminster, and Bills of Mortality, to try Causes under Forty Shillings Value, was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, That this Bill be read the Second time on Monday next.

Dover Pier.

Sir Edmund Peirse reports from the Committee to which the Bill for repairing of Dover Harbour was committed, several Amendments to the said Bill; and a Proviso, with one Amendment thereto, to be added to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered in the same at the Clerk's Table. Which said Amendments and Proviso, being twice read, were, upon the Question, severally agreed unto.

Resolved, upon the Question, That this Bill be re-committed to the former Committee, as touching the Manner and Quantity of the Imposition therein mentioned: And they are to meet, on Saturday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Exchequer Chamber; and to receive any Proposals that shall be made by any of the Parties to the Petition this Day presented, conducing to a more fitting and reasonable Way for the Raising of Money for the Repair of the said Harbour, which this House thinks to be a Work very fit to be done: To which end, Sir Richard Ford and Mr. John Jones have undertaken to give them Notice: And the said Committee are to make their Report herein, with all convenient Speed.

Hearth Tax.

And the House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to resume the Debate upon the Bill for laying an Imposition upon Fire Hearths and Stoves.

Resolved, That this House do accordingly resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, on Saturday Morning next, to resume the further Debate of the said Bill.

Militia.

Ordered, That Mr. Solicitor General do, To-morrow Morning, make Report, from the Committee of the whole House, of the Bill for the Militia.

Privilege.

Upon Complaint that Mr. Thomas Culpepper, of St. Stephens, had made an Assault upon Sir Abraham Cullen, a Member of this House;

Ordered, That the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, or his Deputy, do apprehend, and bring in Custody, the said Mr. Culpepper; to answer his said Breach of Privilege.

Enyon's Estate.

Ordered, That Sir John Goodrick make Report, To-morrow Morning, of the Bill concerning Sir James Enyon's Estate.
