Privilege.

RESOLVED, That Mr. Lucas be discharged from the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms, paying his Fees.

Printer to furnish Acts.

Ordered, That his Majesty's Printer do bring, and leave with the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, a sufficient Number of the Acts for the Eighteen Months Assessment; that they may be delivered to the several Members of this House, to disperse into the Country.

Printed Acts to be perused.

Ordered, That a Committee be appointed of these Persons following; viz. Dr. Birkenhead, Mr. Prin, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir John Brampston, Mr. Vaughan, Dr. Burwell, Mr. Sandys, Mr. Crouch, Sir Robert Atkins, Mr. Clifford, Mr. Heath, Sir Thomas Meres; or any Three of them: And they are to meet de die in diem; and to peruse the printed Act of the Eighteen Months Assessment, and other the publick Acts made by this Parliament; and to see whether they be truly printed, and agree with the Original; and also to peruse the ingrossed Bill for confirming certain Acts of the last Convention; and amongst them the Bill touching Ministers, with Alterations and Additions, and all such other publick Bills as shall for the future pass this House: And, to see that the same, and the several Clauses and Provisoes therein, do agree.

Issue of Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker, when the Lord Cornewallis shall be called up to the Lords House, do send his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to issue a Writ for a new Election of a Member in his Place.

Disability of Member in Holy Orders.

Upon reading the Petition of JohnWandesford Esquire; and a Certificate also being produced, touching Dr. Craddock's being in Holy Orders;

Ordered, That the Matter upon the said Petition and Certificate, be referred to the Committee of Privileges; to take the same into Consideration; and to examine whether Sir Joseph Craddock be in Holy Orders, and so disabled to sit as a Member of this House; and make Report of it to this House.

The Question being put, To forbear the calling of the House this Day;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

Privilege.

Ordered, That Mr. Thomas Chesterman, an Attorney, be summoned by the Serjeant at Arms, or his Deputy, to attend the Committee of Privileges this Afternoon: And it is referred to the said Committee, to examine the Breach of Privilege objected against him, in prosecuting and obtaining an Outlawry against Sir John Denham whilst he was a sitting Member of this House; and to report the Matter to this House.

Highways.

Mr. Rigby reports Amendments from the Committee to which the Bill for repairing and amending Highways, was committed: Which were opened by the Reporter at the Bar; and compared with the Coherence; and brought up to the Clerk's Table; and there delivered.

Resolved, That the Matter upon the Report of the Amendments to the Bill of Highways, be adjourned till Saturday Morning; and taken into Consideration, the first publick Business.

London, &c. Streets.

Resolved, That the Bill for amending and repairing the Highways in and near the Cities of London and Westminster, be read the Second time, after the Amendments reported to the other Bill for Highways.

And the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, at Eight of the Clock.
