Prayers.

Ld. Aburgavennie's Estate.

ORDERED, That the Committee to whom the Lord Aburgavennie's Bill is committed, do sit, according to their Adjournment, this Afternoon; and so de die in diem, until they have perfected their Report.

Brackley Election.

Ordered, That the Petition of Sir Thomas Crew, touching his Election for the Town of Brackley in Northamtonshire, be referred to the Committee for Privileges and Elections: And they are to take the same into Consideration this Afternoon.

Earl of Clevland's Estate.

A Bill for Confirmation and Explanation of an Act for settling some of the Manors and Lands of the Earl of Clevland in Trustees, to be sold, for the Satisfying of the Debts of the said Earl, and of Thomas Lord Wentworth his Son, being ingrossed, was this Day read the Third time.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the said Bill do pass.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the Title of the said Bill shall be, An Act for Confirmation and Explanation of an Act for settling some of the Manors and Lands of the Earl of Clevland in Trustees, to be sold, for the Satisfying of the Debts of the said Earl, and of Thomas Lord Wentworth his Son.

And the Lord Bruce is to carry up the said Bill to the Lords.

Thin's Estate.

Mr. Milward made Report from the Committee to whom Sir Henry Frederick Thin's Bill to supply the Defect in a Deed, and to have a Decree in Chancery for that Purpose confirmed, was committed, several Amendments to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and then delivered in the same, with the Bill, at the Clerk's Table: Which said Amendments being severally twice read;

Resolved, That this House doth agree to the said Amendments: And

Ordered, That the said Bill, so amended, be ingrossed.

Earl of Dorset's Estate.

A Bill, ingrossed, sent from the Lords, for settling the Manors of Knoll Seale and Kempsing in the County of Kent, upon the Earl of Dorset and his Heirs, and charging the Manors of Berhall, Cowding, and other Lands, with a Rent Charge of One hundred and Thirty Pounds a Year, in lieu thereof, being this Day read the Third time;

Resolved, That the several Amendments following be added to the former Amendments; viz. after the Words "James Rogers," in the Third Skin, Line 37, put in the Words "or any others."

In the Fifth Skin, Line 44, after the Word "James Day," put out the Word "and," and put in the Word "or."

Resolved, That the Bill be returned to the Lords with the former and these Amendments: To which Amendments their Lordships Concurrence is to be desired.

And the Lord Bruce is to carry up the same.

Privilege.

Serjeant Charleton reported from the Committee of Privileges and Elections, That one Henry Rosse, being produced as a Witness at the said Committee, upon the Hearing of the Matter touching the Election of the Knights for the County of Nottingham, did, upon his Examination, use saucy Language, and deride the said Committee.

Resolved, That the Serjeant at Arms attending this House do apprehend and take into Custody the said Henry Rosse; and bring him to the Bar of this House, to answer his said Miscarriage.

Uniformity of Worship.

A Bill for the Uniformity of publick Prayers, and Administration of Sacraments, being ingrossed, was this Day read the Third time.

And a Book of Common Prayer, intituled, The Book of Common Prayer, and Administration of the Sacraments, and other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church of England, which was imprinted at London in the Year 1604, was, at the Clerk's Table, annexed to the said Bill, Part of the Two Prayers inserted therein before the Reading Psalms being first taken out, and the other Part thereof obliterated.

And a Proviso, tendered to be added to the said Bill, being twice read, was, upon the Question, laid aside.

Resolved, That the said Bill, with the said Book of Common Prayer so annexed, do pass.

Resolved, That the Title of the said Bill shall be, An Act for the Uniformity of publick Prayers, and Administration of Sacraments.

Publick Money.

A Bill for investing the King's Majesty with such Monies as have been received for publick Uses, and not pardoned by the Act of Oblivion, was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the said Bill be committed to the Committee appointed to examine the Business of the King's Majesty's Revenue: And all the Members that serve for North Wales, South Wales, and Cornwall, are added, to be of the Committee for this Bill: And they are to meet this Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Militia.

And then this House resolved itself into a Grand Committee, to resume the Debate of the Bill for ordering the Forces of this Kingdom.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Solicitor General took the Chair.

After which, Mr. Speaker again took the Chair.

And Mr. Solicitor General made Report, That the said Committee had made some Progress upon the said Bill.

And thereupon it was ordered, That this House would again resolve itself into a Grand Committee To-morrow, at Nine of the Clock, to resume the further Debate of the said Bill.

Publick Revenue.

Ordered, That the Chairman of the Committee appointed to examine the Business of his Majesty's Revenue do make Report To-morrow Morning.

Disbanding the Army, &c.

Ordered, That the Committee for disbanding and paying of the Army and Navy do, in the next Place, make their Report To-morrow Morning.

Pains and Penalties against Regicides.

Ordered, That Mr. Thurland be added to the Committee to whom the Bill declaring the Pains, Penalties, and Forfeitures, to be imposed upon the Estates and Persons of certain notorious Offenders, excepted out of the Act of Oblivion, is committed.

Carriages for the King.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom the Bill for providing necessary Carriages for his Majesty in his Royal Progress, is committed, be revived.

Records of King's Beach, &c.

Ordered, That the Execution of the Order of this House made for removing the Records belonging unto the King's Bench into the Room over this House be suspended, till a View be taken of the said Room by some of the Members of this House, and this House shall take further Order therein.

And then this House adjourned till Seven of the Clock, To-morrow Morning.
