Prayers.

Grant to General Cromwell.

MR. Lechmere reports from the Committee, Amendments to a Bill for settling certain Manors, Lands, and Tenements upon Oliver Cromwell, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, and his Heirs: Which were twice read; and, upon the Question, assented unto.

And the Question being put, That the said Bill be ingrossed;

It passed with the Negative.

And the said Bill, so amended, being put to the Question, passed.

Sequestered Rectories, &c.

Mr. Millington reports, An Act for the better Payment of Augmentations out of the Impropriate Rectories, Vicarages, and Tythes, sequestered from Papists and Delinquents;

Which was this Day read the First and Second time.

Ordered, That this Bill be committed to Mr. Reynolds, Mr. Lechmere, Mr. Rous, Mr. Millington, Alderman Allen; or any Three of them: Who are to withdraw presently; and bring in their Report.

Sackvile College.

The humble Petition of the poor People of Sackvile College, in East Grinstead in the County of Sussex, was this Day read.

Ordered, That this Petition be referred to a Committee; to call the Parties before them; and to compose the Differences, and settle the Business if they can; or else to report the State thereof, with their Opinions therein, to the House: Viz. to Colonel Morley, Colonel Downes, Mr. Ro. Goodwyn, Mr. John Goodwyn, Mr. Fagg, Colonel Stapley, Sir Peter Wentworth, Mr. Baker, Sir John Bourchier, Mr. Haies, Sir John Trevor, Mr. Gurdon, Colonel Apseley, Mr. Corbett, Mr. Stephens, Mr. Oldesworth, Mr. Dove, Mr. Skinner, Mr. Edwards; or any Five of them: And this Committee are to meet this Afternoon at Two of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber; and so de die in diem: With Power to send for Persons, Papers, and Witnesses.

Resolved, That Mr. Stephens do report Amendments to the Bill touching Colleges, on This-day-sevennight.

Sequestered Ministers.

The humble Petition of divers Ministers sequestered out of their Livings, to the utter Undoing of themselves, their Wives and Children, suffering great Want and Penury, was this Day read.

Mr. Lechmere reports from the Committee appointed to withdraw, Amendments to the Act for the better Payment of Augmentations, out of the Impropriate Rectories, Vicarages, and Tythes, sequestered from Papists or Delinquents: Which were twice read; and, upon the Question, assented unto.

And the Question being put, For the Ingrossing;

It passed with the Negative.

And the Bill so amended, being put to the Question, passed; and ordered to be printed and published.

Swearing and Cursing.

Ordered, That the Amendments to the Bill against Swearing and Cursing be reported on This-day-sevennight, the first Business.

Conveying Persons to Ireland.

Mr. Dove reports from the Committee, the Cases of several Ladies, and others.

Resolved, That Two thousand Pounds be provided forthwith to be paid to such Persons as the Parliament shall nominate, to the end so much as shall be necessary may be disbursed out of the same, for the immediate Transportation of such Persons as shall be willing to go over into Ireland, that are related to Ireland.

The House, according to former Order, adjourned itself until Tuesday Morning next, Eight of Clock.
