Prisoners in the Fleete.

ORDERED, That the Petition of the distressed Prisoners in the Fleete be referred to the Consideration of the Committee appointed to consider of the Day Writs.

Lieut. of Northampton.

Resolved, That this House doth nominate and approve the Earl of Peterborough to be Lieutenant of the County of Northampton, in the Place of the Lord Spencer, formerly nominated Lieutenant of that County.

Mr. Martin is appointed to carry up this Vote to the Lords.

Money for Ireland.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the Three-and-twenty thousand Pounds, now at Chester, be immediately sent over into Ireland.

Resolved, upon the Question, That this Three-and-twenty thousand Pounds shall be proportionably distributed among the common Soldiers, and all Officers under Captains.

Officers Pay.

Resolved, That Mr. Marten do write a Letter, to declare, That it is not the Intention of the House, that the Captains and other Officers shall not be paid; but that there is a greater Sum of Money forthwith to be sent over, out of which they are to be satisfied.

Money for Ireland.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the Treasurers appointed to receive the Monies that come in upon the Acts of Subscription for Ireland, do forthwith advance to Mr. Loftus, Deputy Treasurer at Wars for Ireland, Twenty-seven thousand Pounds, to make up the Fifty thousand Pounds formerly ordered to be sent, out of the Monies that come in upon the Loan of the Hundred thousand Pounds lent by the particular Companies of London, to be immediately sent over into Ireland, for the Pay of the Soldiers there.

Resolved, That Five thousand Pounds more shall be paid unto Mr. Loftus, Deputy Treasurer at Wars for Ireland, to be disposed of upon the Lord Lieutenant's Warrants, for incident Charges, out of the first Monies that shall come in upon the Loan of the Hundred thousand Pounds lent by the Particular Companies of the City of London.

Loan from the City.

Ordered, That Mr. Ven do require a particular Account of the State of the Hundred thousand Pounds lent by the particular Companies, and what of the said Monies are issued out, and upon what Order.

Ordered, That the Master and Wardens of the Company of Clothworkers be summoned to attend here To-morrow Morning, to give an Account why the Monies allotted upon their Company, for their Proportion of the Hundred thousand Pounds promised to be lent by the particular Companies of London, are not yet brought in.

Declaration.

Trial of Ld. Mayor.

The Lords have commanded us to return you this Declaration, which they have agreed unto, with these Alterations and Additions: They likewise let you know, that they are now ready to proceed in the Trial against the Lord Mayor.

The Amendments and Additions were read; and, by Vote upon the Question, all assented unto: And

Ordered, That the Committee go up to be present at the Trial.

Answer returned by the same Messengers;

The House has considered their Lordships Message; and do concur in all the Amendments and Additions; and will send up some of their Members, to be present at the Trial of the Lord Mayor.

Letter Office.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the Report of the Letter Office be made by Mr. Weston and Mr. Prideaux, on Thursday Morning next peremptorily.

Army Pay.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Three Months Pay shall be forthwith paid to the Ten Troops of Horse appointed to attend the Scotts Army for Three Months passed.

Allowance to Lord Loftus.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Two hundred Pounds shall be allowed to the Lord Loftus, late Lord Chancellor of Ireland, out of the Contribution Money; and that the Treasurers be appointed to pay the same accordingly.

Leave to go to France.

Ordered, That those Irish Gentlemen, Papists, late of the Inns a' Court, that attended Mr. Speaker, shall have Leave to be transported into France.

Instructions to Skinner.

Instructions for the County of Kent to Mr. Augustyn Skinner, whereby the Desires of this County may be presented by him to the Honourable House of Commons, was read.

English Protestants in Ireland.

The humble Petition of certain distressed English Protestants in Ireland, read; and ordered to be referred to the special Care of the Committee for the Contribution Money; to consider of their Relief.

Proceedings at Kent Assizes.

Sir Hen. Heyman, Sir Hen. Vane, and Sir Edw. Partriche, made Report of the Proceedings of the Committee at Kent Assizes; and of the Carriage of Judge Mallett, and divers of the Justices of Peace there.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee for the Defence of the Kingdom, to consider of the fittest way to send speedily for Judge Mallett.

Ordered, That the whole Business concerning the Proceedings at the last Assizes in Kent, by the Committee of this House; and the Carriage of Judge Mallett, and divers others; be referred to the Consideration of the Committee for the Defence of the Kingdom.

Sir G. Strode, &c.

Resolved, &c. That the Bail for Sir Geo. Strode, Sir Roger Twisden, and Mr. Spencer, shall be required forthwith to bring in their Persons to attend this House.

Killigrewe's Horses.

Ordered, That the Restraint made by this House, of Mr. Killigrewe's Horses in Colman-street, shall be taken off.

Serj. Hide to attend.

Ordered, That Mr. Serjeant Hide do attend the House To-morrow, upon the former Business.

Person sent for.

Resolved, &c. That the Sheriff of Dorsetshire shall be forthwith sent for, as a Delinquent.

Dorchester Indemnity.

Resolved, &c. That Mr. Constantine do bring in an Order for the Indemnity of the Mayor of Dorchester, and the Townsmen there, concerning their Mustering and Training the People for the Defence of that Place, and to encourage them for the future.

Ordered, That Mr. Rigbie do return Thanks unto * * * * for their Care in the Service of this House.
