Prayers.

Army Pay.

RESOLVED, That this House doth approve of what the Committee of the Army hath done, touching the Payment of the Billet Money, and additional Pay allowed by the Act of the Twelfth of May last; and the additional Pay only to the Forces in Ireland, for the last Three Months, from the Twenty-fifth of December last, until the Twenty-fifth of March last.

Delinquents Estates.

An Act for Sale of divers Delinquents Estates, was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, That, in the Sale of the Lands in this Act, there shall be admitted a Doubling upon the Publick Faith.

The Question being propounded, That Two hundred thousand Pounds be admitted to be doubled upon the Sale of these Lands;

And the Question being put, That that Question be now put;

It passed with the Negative.

The Question being propounded, That One hundred and Fifty thousand Pounds be doubled upon the Sale of these Lands;

And the Question being put, That that Question be now put;

The House was divided.

The Noes went forth.

So it passed with the Negative.

Resolved, That One hundred thousand Pounds be doubled upon the Sale of these Lands.

The Question being propounded, That these Lands shall not be sold under Ten Years Purchase, in Possession;

And the Question being put, That this Question be now put;

It passed with the Affirmative.

And the main Question being put;

It was Resolved, That these Lands shall not be sold under Ten Years Purchase, in Possession.

Resolved, That that Act be committed to Sir Arthur Hesilrige, Lord Commissioner Whitelock, Mr. Attorney, Earl of Pembroke, Mr. Darley, Major Salwey, Alderman Allen, Colonel Bossevile, Lord Grey, Sir Henry Mildmay, Mr. Thomas Challener, Mr. Herbert, Mr. Holland, Mr. Lister, Colonel Charles Fleetwood, Lord Commissioner Lisle, Mr. Garland, Mr. Say, Earl of Salisbury, Sir John Hippisly, Sir Gilbert Pickering, Colonel Ven, Lord Howard, Mr. Pierepoint, Sir Wm. Constable, Mr. Dove, Mr. Richard Darley, Mr. Carey Ralegh, Mr. Hussy, Mr. Clement, Mr. Edward Aske: And all that come, to have Voices: And the Committee is to meet on Tuesday in the Afternoon at Two of the Clock, in Mr. Speaker's Chamber: And the particular Care hereof is referred to Mr. Garland: And this Committee have Power to hear any Persons; and to report what they think fit to the House.

The humble Petition of Carew Ralegh Esquire, only Son of Sir Walter Ralegh Knight, lately deceased, was this Day read.

Resolved, That the Consideration of this Petition be referred to the Committee to whom the Bill is committed; and to report their Opinions therein to the House, what is fit to be done therein.

Resolved, That Ralph Darnall Esquire be Register in this Bill.

Resolved, That this Committee have Power to bring in the Names of Persons fit to be Trustees, Contractors, and other Officers, in this Bill, besides Register.

Resolved, That it be referred to the Committee to whom this Bill shall be committed, either out of the Estates of some of the Persons named in this Bill, or some other Delinquents, to set out Lands of the clear yearly Value of One thousand Pounds per Annum, according to the former Votes of this House, to be settled by Act of Parliament, upon Major General Skippon, and his Heirs; and, in case they shall see Cause to do it out of any of the Estates of the Persons in this Act, then to bring in the Names of such other Delinquents, whose Estates they shall think fit to be sold, to be inserted in this Act, to supply the same.

Transporting Coin.

Ordered, That the Act, prohibiting the Transportation of Coin and Bullion, be read the Second time on Thursday Morning next, the first Business.

Relief of Debtors.

An additional Act, for granting Habeas Corpus to poor Prisoners for Debt, upon Oath, that they are not worth Five Pounds, to go at Liberty upon their own Security, for prosecuting their Habeas Corpus, was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, passed; and ordered to be forthwith printed and published.

Relief of Creditors.

Ordered, That the Act for Relief of Creditors be reported on Thursday Morning, next after the Act for Bullion.

Earl of Southampton.

Ordered, That the Earl of Southampton have Liberty granted to him, from time to time, for the Space of Three Months next coming, to travel from Stratton in the County of Southampton unto Titchfield in the same County, and from thence back again.

Resolved, That this House doth adjourn itself until Tuesday Morning next.
