Prayers.

Earl of Pembroke's Funeral.

RESOLVED, &c. That the Members of this House do attend the Corpse of the late Earl of Pembroke, out of this Town, on Wednesday next, in the Afternoon.

Manby's Invention.

Sir Arthur Heslerigge reports from the Council of State, the Petition of George Manby, concerning his Invention for the saving of much Fewel in making Salt, Brewing, &c.: Which Petition was read.

An Act, prohibiting all Persons, for Fourteen Years, to make use of the Invention found out by George Manby for the Saving of much Fewel in making Salt, Brewing, &c. was this Day read the First time; and ordered to be read the Second time on This-day-sevennight.

Sequestrations.

Ordered, by the Parliament, That the Barons of the Exchequer be authorized and impowered to proceed to determine the Causes of all Persons depending before them, touching Sequestrations, in such manner as formerly they were to do before the late Act, intituled, An Act for the better Ordering and Managing of the Estates of Papists and Delinquents.

Writs of Error.

Sir Arthur Heslerigge reports an Act for Redress and Prevention of Mischiess and Delays arising to the People by Writs of Error.

Which was this Day read the First and Second time.

The Question being put, That the Clause concerning the Orders and Injunctions in Courts of Equity be Part of the Bill;

The House was divided.

Ordered, That Mr. Browne, Mr. Lechmere, Mr.* Challener, Mr. Nevill, Sir John Boucher, Mr. Lister, Mr. Dove, Mr. Hallowes, Sir Wm. Allenson, Mr. Reynolds, Mr. Skinner, Mr. Toll, Mr. Anlaby, be added to the Committee of the Army.

Relief of Creditors.

Ordered, That the Bill for Relief of Creditors, be reported, the first Business, on Thursday Morning next.

Relief of Tenants.

Resolved, That the Act for Relief of Tenants against malignant Landlords; be read on Saturday next, the first Business; nothing to intervene.

London Poor, &c.

Ordered, That the Act for the Poor of London, be read on This-day-sevennight; the Report for the Sancta Clara be reported on Saturday Morning next, the first Business.

Prices of Corn.

Resolved, That the Report from the Council of State, for abating the Price of Corn, be made on Saturday next, after the Act for Relief of Tenants.

An Act, appointing a Day of Solemn Humiliation, Fasting, and Prayer, and declaring the Grounds and Reasons thereof, was this Day read the First and Second time; and, after some Amendments made at the Table, passed; and ordered to be forthwith printed and published; and brought in To-morrow Morning: And that the Council of State do see the said Act sent down, and dispersed, into the several Counties of this Commonwealth.

Preachers appointed.

Ordered, That Mr. Owen and Mr. Powell be desired to preach and pray before the Parliament, at Margarett's Westminster, on Thursday the last Day of February; being a Day set apart for Publick Fasting and Humiliation.

Comm rs of Assessments.

Ordered, That Michael Muncton, Samuel Clyatt, Christofer Wray, Joseph Larke, Thomas Johnson, Martin Johnson, Theophilus Harnesse, Thomas Rosseter, and Robert Christofer, be added Commissioners for the Assessments in Lincolnshire.
