Prayers.

Committee Rooms, &c.

ORDERED, by the Parliament, That the Treasurers at Goldsmiths Hall be authorized and required to provide Chairs, Stools, and other Furniture for furnishing the late House of Lords, and other Rooms thereunto belonging: And that they furnish the said Rooms, and make the same sit and convenient for the Committee at Goldsmiths Hall to sit there.

Ordered, by the Parliament, That the Two Rooms belonging to the Court of Wards be assigned to the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal of England, for their Retirement and Service: And that the Rooms commonly called the Queen's Court, be assigned to the Committee of Indemnity to sit there.

East India Company.

The humble Petition of the Governor and Company of Merchants of London, trading into the East Indies, was this Day read.

Ordered, by the Parliament, That the said Petition be referred to the Committee of the Navy; to hear all Parties concerned; and to examine and state the Business; and report their Opinion therein to the House.

Attendance of Members.

Resolved, upon the Question, by the Parliament, That an Account be taken by the House, on This day-sevennight, what Members of this House who have been summoned to give their Attendance on the House, have made Appearance on that Summons.

The Engagement.

The Question being propounded, That it be referred to a Committee to consider how this Engagement may be subscribed by all the People of this Nation;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

And the main Question being put;

It was Resolved, upon the Question by the Parliament, That it be referred to a Committee, to consider how the Engagement may be subscribed by all the People of this Nation; Viz. to Colonel Morley, Lord Grey, Mr. HenNevill, Earl of Pembroke, Colonel Fleetwood, Mr. Rawleigh, Mr. Martyn, Colonel Purefoy, Mr. Robinson, Mr. John Goodwyn, Mr. Holland, Mr. Masham, Sir James Harrington, Lord Lysle, Colonel Downe, Mr. Fry, Sir Wm. Masham, Major Salway, Mr. John Corbett, Mr. Allen, Alderman Hoyle, Mr. Blagrave, Mr. Weaver, Mr. Lechmere, Sir Arthur Hesilrige, Alderman Pennington, Mr. Snelling, Mr. Baker, Mr. Reynolds, Colonel Hutchinson, Mr. Burrell, Mr. Heveningham, Sir John Danvers, Mr. Bond, Mr. Scott, Colonel Harrison, Sir Henry Vane junior, Mr. Myles Corbett, Colonel Ven, Colonel Stapeley, Mr. Gurdon, Mr. Gratwick, Mr. Dove, Lord Herbert, Colonel Rich, Mr. Chaloner; or any Five of them: And this Committee is to meet in the Speaker's Chamber, this Afternoon at Two of the Clock; and so de die in diem.

And Mr. Myles Corbett is to take care hereof.

Business deferred.

Ordered, That the several Business appointed for this Day, be taken into Consideration on Thursday next.

Pix Money.

Ordered, That the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal of England, and others of the Commissioners for Trial of the Pix Money, and the Jury impannelled for that Purpose, be authorized and impowered to proceed in Trial of the said Monies, by that Part of the Standard which remains in the Exchequer, with that remains in Goldsmiths Hall.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Commissioners for Trial of the Pix Money, to give Order, That the Standards for the Coins of this Commonwealth be new made of the same Allay with the former; and present the same to the House, to be approved of.

Adjournment.

Ordered, That the House do adjourn itself.

And the House adjourned itself till Tuesday Morning, Eight of Clock accordingly.
