Prayers.

Petitions concerning Members.

ORDERED, That, on Saturday Morning next, the Petitions concerning Mr. Jenings, a Member of this House, and other Members, be read: And that Mr. Jenyngs be appointed to be here at the first Sitting of the House, to give Answer thereunto.

Surrey Horse.

An Ordinance for sequestering of the Estates, both real and personal, of Delinquents, to be employed for the Raising and Maintaining a Troop of Horse in the County of Surrey, was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, committed unto Sir Gilbert Gerard, Mr. Bond, Mr. Drake, Sir Walter Erle, Mr. Lechmore, Mr. Gurdon, Sir Wm. Massam, Mr. Wheeler, Sir Robert Pye, Sir Rich. Onslowe, Mr. Scott; or any Three of them: And they are to meet upon it this Afternoon at Three of Clock, in the Court of Wards, and To-morrow Morning.

Conference with Lords.

Sir John Potts, Mr. Pierrepont, Mr. Wheeler, Sir Walter Erle, Sir Richard Onslowe, Mr. Swynfen, are appointed Managers of the free Conference Yesterday appointed to be had with the Lords, and Reporters of the Conference desired by the Lords.

Inquiry into Design in London.

Mr. Miles Corbett reports the Examinations and Informations taken by the Committee of the Militia, touching the late Design in London: Divers Examinations touching one Colonel Marcellus Rivers, and the late Design.

The which were read; and delivered immediately to Mr. Miles Corbett.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth approve of the Commitment of Marcellus Rivers, Lieutenant Colonel Clarke, Captain Reyner, Captain Hill, and * *, by the Committee of the Militia of the City of London.

Ordered, That the Committee of this House, to whom the Examination of this Business is referred, be required to meet and sit constantly and diligently; and to proceed with Care to the speedy and thorough Examination and Discovery of this whole Business: And the Committee at Darby House are desired to deliver unto this Committee the Examinations taken by them touching this Design, and touching such Persons as are committed by them, upon this Design: And this Committee are to take Course for the further Examining of the said Persons committed by that Committee.

Martial Law.

An Ordinance for Execution of Martial Law was this Day read the First time; and the Debate hereof ordered to be resumed on Monday Morning next, between the Hours of Ten and Twelve.

Message to Lords.

Colonel Moore carried to the Lords, for their Concurrence, an additional Ordinance for the better bringing in Sequestration Money, both in City and Country: An Ordinance for Payment of Six hundred Pounds, with Interest, to John Sleigh Esquire: An Order for Payment of Two hundred Pounds, out of the Composition of Sir Charles Chemyes, to Colonel Eyres, Governor of Hurst Castle: An Order for Payment of Two hundred Pounds to Major Berry, and One hundred Pounds to Mr. Edward Sexby, out of Sir Charles Chemyes' Estate.
