PRAYERS.
Propositions to the King.
THE House proceeded to the further Consideration of the Papers, sent from the Lords, referred to a Committee on Saturday last, and reported this Day by Mr. Swynfen.
Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Lords in the Matter contained in the Seventh Paper, concerning Oaths and Declarations.
Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Lords in the Matter contained in the Eighth Paper, concerning the Cessation and Prosecution of the War in Ireland.
Memorandum, Ireland, when the House comes to consider the Paper concerning Religion.
Ordered, That the Contractors be heard on Thursday Morning next, concerning the Obstructions they desire to be removed; and to present an Ordinance for Removal thereof.
Resolved, &c. That instead of the Words "by the Council of State," in the Ninth Paper, concerning Election of Officers, these Words, "by such Committees as shall be appointed by both Houses of Parliament," be inserted.
The Question being put, For putting now the Question for agreeing with the Lords for continuing the Words of "Lord High Admiral," in the Ninth Paper, concerning the Election of Officers.
It passed with the Negative.
Resolved, &c. That the Ninth Paper, concerning the Election of Officers, be committed to the same Committee: Who are to consider of other great Officers; and of a Provision for such as have been put out of their Offices for adhering to the Parliament; of a negative Voice, according to the Debate of the House, concerning all Officers of publick Trust; and to provide for the appointing of Ambassadors and Agents to reside Abroad, upon foreign Negotiations: And that Mr. Marten, Mr. Wheeler, Mr. Whitelock, Colonel Birch, Mr. Humsrey Edwards, Sir Christ. Yelverton, Mr. Holland, Sir Wm. Massam, Dr. Bond, Mr. Maynard, Mr. Ellis, Mr. * Pierrepoint, Lord Grey, Lieutenant General Cromwell, Colonel Ireton, Sir Thomas Widdrington, Colonel Harvey, Major Brooke, Major Scott, are added to this Committee: And they are to meet this Afternoon; and to bring it in To-morrow Morning.
The Question being put, Whether this House shall agree with the Lords in their Tenth Paper, concerning Delinquents;
It passed with the Negative.
The Question was propounded, That it be referred to a Committee, to prepare a Proposition, upon the Debate now had in the House, concerning Delinquents excepted from Pardon of Life.
And that the Question being put, Whether this Question shall be now put;
It passed with the Affirmative.
Resolved, &c. That it be referred to a Committee, to prepare a Proposition, upon the Debate now had in the House, concerning Delinquents excepted from Pardon.
Resolved, &c. That this Business be referred to the former Committee where Mr. Swynfen has the Chair, with the Addition this Day made to that Committee: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Five of Clock; and to report To-morrow Morning.

Resolved, &c. That Nicholas Mudsorte be forthwith sent for, and apprehended, as a Delinquent, by the Serjeant at Arms attending on this House: And that the Information, this Day given in against him, be referred to the Examination and Consideration of the Committee of Complaints.
