Army Arrears.

THE Grand Committee sat, to take into Consideration the Ordinance, Instructions, and Propositions, for giving Satisfaction to the Soldiery of the Kingdom.

Mr. Knightley in the Chair.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Knightley reports from the Grand Committee, That he was commanded to present to the House the Consideration of the Sixth Proposition, being a Matter of so great Concernment, that the Committee durst not resolve any thing upon it without the Opinion of the House.

The Proposition was read; and was in hæc verba; viz.

"That all other Persons sequestered before the Date of this Ordinance, who shall not have prosecuted their Composition to Effect, through their own Default, before the Five-and-twentieth of March next, shall thenceforth not be admitted to Composition; but their Estates sold, to the Intents and Purposes herein expressed.

The Question being put, For taking presently into Consideration the Sixth Proposition, now reported;

It passed with the Negative.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Knightley called to the Chair.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

And adjourned till Monday at Eight of Clock.
