THE Grand Committee, according to former Order, sat, to take into Consideration the Ordinance sent from the Lords, concerning the Inhibiting of Persons to preach, that are not ordained.

Message to Lords.

Mr. Holles, according to former Order, carried to the Lords the Ordinance for committing the Custody of the Great Seal to the Speakers of both Houses, in manner as formerly, to continue until Ten Days after the next Term: The Ordinance for issuing a Commission to Judges to hear Causes in Chancery, in Absence of the Commissioners: The Vote, That Circuits should be kept this Vacation: The Vote for appointing a Committee to consider of filling the Benches with Judges: The Vote, That the Seal may be delivered to the Commissioners, and they sworn in the Presence of both Houses: The Vote to require the Commissioners of the Great Seal to present the Names of the Judges that are to ride the Circuits: The Order for Payment of Two hundred Ninety-four Pounds to Francis Smyth Esquire, for Goods delivered in Ireland, out of the Sequestrations at Guildhall, London.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Answer from Lords.

Mr. Holles reports, That the Lords do agree to all the Messages carried to them by him: And have appointed this Afternoon at Four of Clock, to deliver the Seal to the Commissioners; and to swear them, in the Presence of both Houses.

Great Seal.

The House being informed, That the Gentleman Usher of the Lords House was at the Door;

He was called in: And did acquaint the House, That the Lords were ready, and did expect this House, that the Seal might be delivered, and the Commissioners sworn, in the Presence of both Houses.

Mr. Speaker, and the whole House with him, went accordingly to the Lords.
