RESOLVED, &c. That the Petition of divers Inhabitants of the Borough of Circenster shall be now read.

The Petition was accordingly read.

Bridgewater Petition.

Ordered, That the Bridgewater Petition be read To-morrow Morning, when Mr. Speaker comes to the Chair, after the Committee rises.

Baldwyn's Delinquency.

Sir Anthony Irby reports from the Committee at Goldsmiths Hall, the State of the Fine, Delinquency, and Estate, of Mr. Charles Baldwyn: And

It is Ordered, That the Report concerning Mr. Charles Baldwyn, late a Member of this House, be re-committed, upon Information, That the said Charles Baldwyn was not in the Garison of Ludlowe, when the said Place was surrendered; yet craves the Benefit of the Articles for the Surrender of that Garison.

Pelham's Delinquency.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth accept of the Sum of Two thousand Two hundred and Fifty Pounds of Edward Pelham, of Brockelsby in the County of Lincolne, Esquire, for a Fine for his Delinquency: His Offence is, Being in Arms against the Parliament: He submitted before the First of December One thousand Six hundred Forty-five. His Estate in Fee is One thousand Three hundred Twenty-nine Pounds One Shilling Six-pence per Annum, in Reversion Seven hundred and Thirty Pounds per Annum; out of which One hundred Seventy seven Pounds per Annum is issuing for ever, besides a Charge of Seven thousand Five hundred Pounds for Sisters Portions, and an Hundred Pounds per Annum apiece to Two of the younger Sons of Sir Wm. Pelham his Father, charged upon the said Estate by Sir Wm. Pelham, by Deed dated 10 Augusti, 18 Caroli; and by his last Will, dated 23 Julii, 1642.

An Ordinance for granting a Pardon unto Edward Pelham, of Brockelsby in the County of Lincolne, Esquire, for his Delinquency; and for Discharge of the Sequestration of his Estate; was this day read; and upon the Question, passed; and ordered to be sent unto the Lords for their Concurrence.

Goldsmiths Hall Committee.

Mr. Reynolds reports the Amendments to the Ordinance sent from the Lords, concerning the Committee of Goldsmiths Hall: The which were twice read.

The Proviso in the Ordinance sent from the Lords, beginning with the Word "provided," at the latter End of the Nineteenth Line; and the Addition from the Committee to be made to that Proviso, of these Words, "unless they be exempted by Articles of War;" being put to the Question; the said Proviso, with the Addition of the said Words, were, upon the Question, rejected.

And then the Ordinance was, upon the Question, recommitted, upon the whole Debate thereupon had this Day, in the House, to consider of, and bring-in Instructions for the Committee therein named to proceed by, in their compounding with Delinquents.

Mr. Lawrence Whittacre and Mr. Knightley are added to this Committee, as to the Preparing of the said Instructions: And are to report the same with all convenient Speed.

Great Seal.

An Ordinance for committing the Great Seal of England into the Hands and Custody of Commissioners, was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, passed; and ordered to be sent to the Lords for their Concurrence.

Mr. Samuell Browne is appointed to carry it to the Lords.

Ditto.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth expect, that such as shall be Commissioners of the Great Seal of England, do give an Account to this House, How and in What Manner they intend to keep the Seal.
