Prayers.

State of the Government.

THE House, according to former Order, was this Day resolved into a Grand Committee upon the Government.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Garland took the Chair.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Garland reports from the said Grand Committee, that the House be desired to assume the Business of the Government into their Consideration.

Resolved, That the House do assume the Debate of the Government into their Consideration.

Ordered, That the Debate of the Government be taken up on Thursday Morning next.

Ordered, That the Paper now presented to the House, signed Edward Burrough, be read on Thursday Morning next, before the Debate of the Government be taken up.
