Irish Affairs.

ORDERED, That Colonel Sadler, and Major Redman, be added to the Committee for Ireland.

Huntington Parishes.

A Bill for the uniting the Parishes and ParishChurches in Huntington, and Maintenance of Ministers there, was this Day read the First time; and, upon the Question, ordered to be read the Second time on Tuesday Morning next.

Clerk of the House, &c.

Mr. Turner reports from the Committee to whom it was referred to consider of an Oath to be administered to the Clerk and Clerk Assistant of this House, The Resolution of the said Committee; viz.

Resolved, That the House be moved to send to Mr. Scobell, That he deliver the Journal Books, Records, and Writings, that belong to this House, to Mr. Smythe, the Clerk of this House; and that they be disposed of in the Room over this House.

Resolved, That this House doth agree with the Committee, That Mr. Scobell be sent unto, to deliver the Journal Books, Records, and Writings, that belong to this House, to Mr. Smythe, the Clerk of this House; and that they be disposed of in the Room over this House.

Resolved, That these Words; viz. "and that he be required to deliver them to him, accordingly;" be added in this Order, next after the Words "Clerk of this House:" And so the Question was agreed, in these Words; viz.

HorneChurch Parish.

Major-General Haynes reports Amendments to the Bill for dividing the Parish and Vicarage of Horne Church in the County of Essex, &c.: Which were twice read.

Resolved, That these Words, "Four Pounds Ten Shillings," in the Proviso, in the Amendments, be made "Five Pounds and Ten Shillings."

Resolved, That the whole Clause, beginning in the Sixth Folio, Line the Three-and-twentieth, and the Amendments to the same, shall be wholly omitted out of the Bill.

And the rest of the Amendments, being put to the Question, were agreed unto.

Resolved, That this Bill, thus amended, shall be ingrossed.

Marriages, &c.

The House being informed, That some Gentlemen were at the Door, with a Message from the Lords;

Mr. Justice Wyndham and Mr. Baron Hill having made their Obeisance, and being come up to the Clerk's Table; Mr. Justice Wyndham delivered a Message to this Effect; viz.

I am commanded by the Lords to desire of this House, That you will join with their Lordships in an humble Address to his Highness the Lord Protector, That he will be pleased to appoint a Day of Publick Humiliation throughout the Three Nations of England, Scotland, and Ireland.

The Question being propounded, That this House will send an Answer by Messengers of their own;
