Petition and Advice.
THE House did this Day, according to former Order, resume the Debate adjourned on Saturday last.
Resolved, That this House do repair to his Highness the Lord Protector, to acquaint him with the Vote of this House passed on Saturday last, That they do adhere to the humble Petition, and Advice, formerly presented to his Highness by the House.
Resolved, That the House do then present such Reasons to his Highness therein, as shall be agreed upon by this House.
Resolved, That a Committee be appointed to prepare those Reasons, mentioned in the former Vote, and present them to the House.
