Preachers thanked.
ORDERED, That the Thanks of this House be given to Mr. Gelaspy, for his great Pains taken in his Sermon preached Yesterday before the Parliament at Margarett's, Westminster, being a Day set apart for publick Thanksgiving; and that he be desired to print his Sermon; and that he have the like Privilege in printing the same, as hath been allowed to others in like Cases: And that the Lord Cockrom do give him the Thanks of this House, accordingly.

Lord Loftus' Petition.
The humble Petition of Edward Lord Viscount Loftus, of Ely, was this Day read; and committed to Mr. Robinson, Mr. Shapcott, Colonel Mathews, Mr. Bodurda, Captain Hatsell, Alderman Foote, Colonel Fowke, Colonel Rous, Mr. Pedley, Mr. Burton, Major Wagstaff, Mr. Cole, Lord Cockram, Mr. Vincent, Captain Lilborne, Judge-Advocate Whalley, Sir Richard Onsloe, Sir Theophilus Jones, Colonel Zanchy, Mr. Bisse, Mr. Briscoe, Mr. Clarke, Major Aston, Alderman Tigh, Sir Richard Lucy, Lord Broghill, Mr. Pury, Mr. Purefoy, Mr. Fowell, Mr. Stuart, Colonel Cooper, Mr. Pickering: And are to meet, at Two of the Clock Afternoon on Monday, in Duchy-Chamber.

Cheshire Brigade.
Mr. Bodurda reports from the Committee, to whom the Petition of the Cheshire Brigade was referred, That it be reported to the House, as the Opinion of this Committee, That the Petitioners, namely the Officers of the Cheshire Brigade at Worcester, whose Names are mentioned in a List or Schedule annexed, to the Petition of the said Officers, recommended by his Highness to the Parliament, be included within the Security of the present Army, yet unsatisfied; and that, in order thereunto, the Committee for the Accompts of the Soldiery be authorized and required to examine the said Accompts, according to the Instructions of the 24th of December 1647; and to give out Debentures thereupon: And that the Trustees for Sale of the late King, Queen, and Prince's Lands be likewise required forthwith to pass the said Accompts so stated, or to be stated, into Bills or Bonds: And that the said Bills or Bonds be allowed upon the Purchase of any I and already appointed, or to be appointed, for the Satisfaction of the Arrears of the Army.
That it be likewise reported, as the Opinion of this Committee, That the respective Officers of the Cheshire Brigade at Worcester, shall have their Two Months Pay, due for that particular Service, put upon some speedy and effectual Way of Satisfaction, such as the Parliament shall think fit.

The humble Petition of the reduced Officers, intituled, "The humble Petition of the Subscribers, on the Behalf of themselves, and the rest of the reduced Officers and Soldiers, their Heirs, Executors, Administrators, and Assigns, who faithfully served this Commonwealth in England and Ireland, or either of them; have no-ways forfeited their just Rights, and yet to this Day remain unsatisfied;" was this Day read.
Washborne's Petition.
The humble Petition of Colonel Herriott Washborne was this Day read.
Ordered, That this Petition of Colonel Herriott Washborne be referred to the Committee, to whom the Petition of Mr. Vassall was referred, to state the Matter of Fact.
The Question being propounded, That these Words be added to the last Question, "and that the said Committee do present their Opinion therein to the House, what Way they think fit for the Petitioners Relief;"
And the Question being put, That this Question be now put;
It passed in the Affirmative.
And the main Question being put; It was

The humble Petition of Colonel Robert Butler, late Governor of the Garison of Wareham, in the County of Dorsett, was this Day read.

Earl of Huntingdon's Estate.
Mr. Pedley offered a Report, from the Committee to whom the Bill touching the Earl of Hunt is referred, of Amendments to the same Bill.
The humble Petition of Lucy Countess Dowager of Huntingdon was this Day read.
The Question being put, That the Report of the Amendment to the Bill touching the Earl of Hunt' be now heard;
It passed in the Negative.
Ordered, That this Report be made this Day Fortnight.
Ordered, That the Committee, to whom the said Bill is referred, be impowered in the mean time to hear what the Countess Dowager of Hunt' hath to say therein.
Throckmorton's Petition:
A Petition on the Behalf of George Throckmorton Esquire was tendered to the House.
Ordered, That this Petition touching George Throckmorton Esquire be now read.
The said Petition was read accordingly; and was intituled, "The humble Petition of George Throckmorton, Esquire, Prisoner in Newgate."
Resolved, That, Mr. Recorder of London be desired to come and attend the Service of the House.
George's Nat.
Ordered, That John Du Bose St. George be referred to the Committee for Naturalization, to consider of his Name to be inserted into the Bill for Naturalization.
Privilege-Refusal to attend Committee.
Mr. Brisco reports from the Committee, to whom the Petition of Mr. Buck is referred, that Mrs. Buck, Mrs. Turner, and Mrs. Euer, having been summoned, refuse to attend the Committee.
Ordered, That the Serjeant at Arms attending this House be required to take into his Custody the said Mrs. Buck, Mrs. Turnor, and Mrs. Euor, and bring them before this Committee, to attend that Service.
Thomas' Petition.
The humble Petition of Nicholas Thomas, of Thornerton, in the County of Devon, was this Day read.

Exeter Ministers.
Ordered, That the Committee, to whom the Bill for Exeter is referred, be impowered to send for Papers, Witnesses, and Records, as well in that, as in other Businesses to them referred.
Westmoreland Tenants.
Ordered, That the Petition of the Tenants of Westmoreland, be read on Monday Morning next.
Throckmorton reprieved.
Sir Lislebon Long, Recorder of London, attending the House, according to the Order aforesaid, gave the House an Account touching what was now demanded.
Resolved, That the Court of Sessions, at Sessions House in the Old Bayly, be commanded to make Certificate to this House of the Matter of Fact appearing upon the Trial of George Throckmorton.
Resolved, That this Certificate be returned to the House on Thursday Morning next.
Resolved, That the said George Throckmorton be reprived till Monday Sevennight next.
Milward's Estate.
Mr. Whitgrave reports Amendments to a Bill for enabling Mr. Milward to sell some Lands, for Payment of his Debts; which, being only the Omission of some Words, was, upon the Question, agreed: And the Bill, so amended, ordered to be ingrossed.
Assessments.
Resolved, That the Bill for the Assessments be read on Tuesday Morning next.
