Barnsley's Estate.

A BILL to enable certain Trustees of Charles Barnsley, Gentleman, and Gilbert Barnsley his Son, to sell certain Lands, for Payment of their Debts, and Relief of themselves and Families, was this Day read the Second time; and, upon the Question, committed; viz. to Sir Richard Onsloe, Sir Samuell Sleigh, Mr. Robinson, Mr. Weslake, Captain Baines, Mr. Jervace Bennet, Colonel White, Major-General Bridge, Colonel Castle, Doctor Clarges, Captain Hatsell, Colonel Beaumont, Sir John Hobart, Major-General Haines, Mr. Bodurda, Colonel Rous, Colonel Carter, Mr. Kiffin, Colonel Welden, Mr. Trumball, Mr. Poole, Mr. Peckham, Mr. Whitegrave, Mr. Bond, Mr. Cobb, Mr. Fowell, Colonel Hewson, Mr. Cole, Mr. Martin: And this Committee are to meet this Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the Duchy-Chamber.

A Bill for disposing and settling the Estates of John Clerk Esquire, and Philadelphia his Wife, was this Day read the Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to the Committee to whom Mr. Charles Barnslie's Bill was referred: And Mr. Robinson, Alderman Foote, Sir Richard Pigott, Colonel Mathews, Mr. Pedley, Mr. Highland, Colonel Cooper, Colonel Stapley, Mr. Shirley, Mr. Jenkinson, Colonel Fitz-James, Mr. Hampden, be added to this Committee.

Lucy's, &c. Petition.

The humble Petition of Sir Richard Lucy Knight and Baronet, a Member of this House, and Ernistus Byron, Brother and Heir of Sir Wm. Byron, Son and Heir of Sir Nicholas Byron deceased, was this Day read.

Ordered, That this Petition be referred to the Committee, to whom the Bill for Uniting of Churches in Exeter is referred, to examine the Matter, and report the same, with their Opinion, to the House: And that the Members of the House, that serve for the County of Essex, be added to that Committee, as to this Business.

Vermuden's Petition.

The humble Petition of Sir Cornelius Vermuden Knight, was this Day read.

The said Petition was read accordingly; and was intituled, "The humble Petition of Henry Lisle, on the Behalf of himself, and divers others the distressed Tenants of Hutton Lorris, in the County of York, belonging to the Savoy Hospital in the County of Middlesex."

The Question being put, That this Petition be referred to a Committee;

It passed with the Negative.

Resolved, That this Petition be rejected.

Resolved, That the Report, from the Committee, to whom the Business of Drury House was referred, be received on Thursday Morning; and nothing to intervene.

Bastwick's Petition.

The Remonstrance and humble Petition of Susanna Bastwick, a distressed Widow, the Relict of John Bastwick Doctor of Physick, in the Behalf of herself and her Four Children, was this Day read.

Ordered, That this Petition be referred to a Committee, to examine the Matters contained in the Petition, and to consider of some effectual Way for Relief and Satisfaction of the Petitioners; and to report their Opinion to the House.

Ordered, That this Petition be referred to the Committee to whom the Petition of the Creditors of Sir Wm. Dick was referred: And that Colonel Carter, Major Lister, Colonel Zanchy, Sir Richard Onsloe, be added to that Committee.
